Flash! I was into the Flash Gordon cartoon at the time, and was very impressed that an 'adult' song existed about my favourite TV show.
If I wanted a fight, I would have phoned my mother-in-law.

Well the first time I remember hearing Queen and actually being aware that it was Queen......was probably We Are The Champions.............around the time my hometown team the Detroit Pistons won the NBA championship, so that song was getting some extra airplay......:D
I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye

I dont know what the first song i listened to was,but the song that got me into Queen was Bohemian Rhapsody. I watched a parody video called BoHe-manrhapsody,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeFH-QoAPCk,and i was amazed at the song,my interest built from there,Queen is now my favorite band.

For me it was Killer Queen in 1974. But I didn't like Queen as a band as they didn't smile in any of their publicity shots at the time. Yeah, I know: superficial. :-) Then along came BoRhap and all doubt was dispelled. :-)

We Will Rock You in 1992. Then Greatest Hits over and over and over again the following days on vacation on a Greek island called Chios, in the family (rented) car.

We Will Rock You in 1991. For obvious reasons Queen had a lot of airplay in radios at that time. I was very little, but very, very little (i don't even started school then). And i liked the song.

I didn't know who were Queen or Freddie, or why the radio sations were repeating that song so much. I thought that song was composed by some black african band.

Years later i rediscovered Queen via Greatest Hits. But i remember the first record i bought with my own money was Queen I (late '90s early '00s) and i listened for hours.

Can't distinctly remember which song I'd heard. It was most likely wwry/watc in some effect

First song I remember was probably Somebody To Love. I remember being enthralled with the ending chant.

First time I knew who the band was and listened to anything of theirs on a home recording was a cigarette cassette of LIVE KILLERS. Used to LOVE the bit in Dreamers Ball.... made me crack up AND feel the sentimentality of the song
"Come tonight! Come see the Overbite! Come to Ogre Battle, FIGHT!"
