It would be, except I don't think the Jackson estate would let them use anything where Micheal's voice doesn't sound as good as Freddie's (which means anything that hasn't got Freddie's vocals purposefully made to sound worse than they really were).

Thanks Dim for providing us with that info. If majority of the songs are reworked, then this album is really worth waiting for.

Are they panicking now and trying to give us a reason to buy it? If there are genuinely different and reworked versions then these are a far greater selling point than the Orbit/Jackson abomination.

And by 'reworked' I am wanting either original demos or new renditions from Brian and Roger - NOT just new mixes knocked out for a quick buck like the acapella opera section, I'm In Love With My Car vocal and guitar mix etc... They've pulled that insulting trick already when they could have presented proper 'vault' material.

I really love your video Kacio! Such a great Queen song... and hopefully there will be another release with all the other tracks Bri talked about last year. In my mind they DO exist. Forever is just a compilation no more to expect from this one. LMIYHA is a retake from a song that already existed, like the 2 other "new" tracks. I truly believe they will do someting more with real unreleased takes this time. Those that Bri was talking about and are from the begining of 80's. In my opinion, Rainbow stuff and Forever are too close for them to release the Queen album. If we think in a marketing way, It's not "time to market" for the New Queen album. They have to build the big bang, and we, fans have to wait a little.

If the tracks ARE reworked then the Marketing Department should be fired: It's standard to talk UP the value, not DOWN. Or, if they're being honest to tell it STRAIGHT.

Shitty voice?

Odds are he was LEARNING the song and would imagine variations for a different recording date. Michael had diametrically opposite singing styles. One whisper sweet and silky ala Aaron Neville/Curtis Mayfield. The other scornful angry and grating....ala his rock/James Brown ish voice.

Listen to stuff like "History", "Earth Song", "Ghosts" "remember the time" and say he's had a shitty voice. Hah!

Anyways. If this is the final mix it's horrible. There's no rapport together and its as if there are two songs in one. A choppy blasphemous destruction of a song

So according to the German Amazon site this is the tracklist.......2011 remaster and some 2014 remaster, makes you wonder what the fade is and why the remaster the 2011 versions again.

So this album of new material turns out to be a fu.. erhm... fri... a nifty little compilation album that re-sells old material accompanied by the odd new track every now and then.
Who didn't see that one coming? Oh my, so shocked. How could they do this to us... and still no re-working of The Man in the Shadows :(

Now we all know they still have stuff in the vaults they can re-work and re-release with new hits packages, so I guess we'll be fed with this same old same old for eternity.

Oh well, there are other artists to listen to.

What on earth does it mean by 'with fade'?

Remaster 2014, could be different to 2011.
I hope some other instruments have been used.
