So much hate in a thread, and all because one guy had slight critique over a song... How sad that is!

its a case of pot kettle black yeah?
Brenski just likes winding me up but you know what i don't take any crap from him because he is just a wind up merchant.
I was a bit underwhelmed by this when I first heard it, although it was truly great -- very emotional actually -- hearing Fred singing again. After a few listens it's really grown on me. It has the classic Queen sound and it also feels like a complete track and not a demo that's been tweaked a bit.

This song's been lingering in my head since I heard it. Really terrific! Can't imagine how Man on the Prowl made the cut but Let Me In didn't.

It would have been nice on Made in Heaven too, That was missing a ballad.

What?! It's 40% ballad! No, but seriously, it really isn't missing any ballads imo.

KumoNin my attempt at sarcasm has gone over your head a bit.

sadly, as far as we don't have any native English speaker on this forum
new version of lyrics:
When People Talk Of Love, I’ll Lead The Conversation
I’ll Say I Feel Just Fine, Happy With My Situation
But When I Look Away, ha, People Know My Mind Is Straying
To Where I Once Belonged, Dreaming About Your Heart Again
( Your Heart Again) Yeh ( Your Heart Again) Let Me In Your Heart Again
Listen to me honey
We Laugh To Face The Blues, I Give Your Satisfaction
( It’s Your Heart Again)
Despair Was On Your Mind, I Gave You The Right Direction
( It’s Your Heart Again)
Sometimes You Walk Away, Remember It’s My Heart Your Breaking
You Forget We Were In Love, Now My Heart Is Only Filled With Pain
( Your Heart Again)
Oh
( Your Heart Again)
Let Me In Your Heart Again
Oh My Love, I Want You To Stay
Don’t Leave Me Now, Or I'll Just Fade Away
All My Love!
Don’t Hurt Me This Way
Oh
forgive me babe
Do not ever tell me goodbye
Woohoo
Tell me yes
Oh
Don’t Let Me Wait Too Long, Or I’ll Lose My Mind
When People Talk Of Love, I Have No Hesitation
( It’s Your Heart Again)
Tell Me What You're Dreaming Of. I’ll Hold That Conversation For You Baby
( it’s Your Heart Again)
But when I Look Away, ha, People Know My Mind Is Straying, Baby
To Where I Once Belonged. Just Let Me In Your Heart Again
(You heart again)
( your Heart Again)
Oh
Let Me In Your Heart Again
Open The Doors For Me Babe, To Your Heart Again
Let Me In!
Hey Live
Let Me Live
Woohoo
Let Me live And Live In Your Heart Again

Freddie said back in 89 there was loads of un-finished tracks.
True, but some of them are probably unfinished because they're not good enough to be worth finishing.

I guess they don't want to release tracks that have a scrap of vocal on them, or where Freddie sings and then does his dadadee half way through a line because it's a guide vocal. Things like that would be pretty hard to cover up. Other tracks are perhaps songs that have grown into other songs that made the final cut, and other tracks they just think aren't good enough for release. That's all fine, an artist should always have complete control over what they allow the public to hear (not that any of you have said they shouldn't!)
Let me in your heart again is superior to many tracks on the works, but perhaps doesn't fit with the album in that at the time Queen were sounding current (ish), and this song sounds perhaps too classic. I totally LOVE the vocal on it - he sounds like Aretha Franklin at the Opera. The phrasing is like nothing I've heard before from him. I wish he did that more often actually!
By the way I don't think that it's the same backing as the Anita version. I think it was re-recorded for her. Anyway whether it is or it isn't, it's amazing to hear how far Freddie could take a song. When Anita sings it, it sounds like a thoroughly mediocre ballad. When Freddie sings it, it sounds like somebody ripping their heart out!

I think it is very understandable that Freddie rejected this song, it's a totally trivial pop tune imo. This song would be nice in an anthology where completeness is an issue but it's not so great as a teaser to make people buy another compilation of songs they already own ten times.

At first these 3 "new" tracks didn't do anything, altough it was nice to hear Freddie sing a track i never heard before.
This song and Love Kills, growed the last couple of weeks, i like them a lot now.
The duet with Michael Jackson sounds crap, Michael's voice is too loud, out of sync.
And why didn't they use Freddie's vocals from Mr. Bad Guy.
The solo on Let Me In Your Heart Again, sounds a lot like the solo on Hammer To Fall, soundwise.
