It's obvious that the song wasn't finished, cos Freddie's vocal is the way he used to sing on demos, he sings in a very free manner, so powerfull.
And it's a great!

From the first strings he blows away Anita's version. He was incredible.
Exactly! It's just that these kinds of vocals never made it to official releases and there is a reason for that.

Brenski: If you do not like the new Queen track " Let me in your heart again" then do not buy it but please
stop moaning because us ardent Queen fans have been waiting for this for 23 years, and it is a joy to hear Freddie
after such a long time and all the shit from Adam Lambert.
At long last the Master voice of Queen is finally back.
"Let me in your heart again" is a brill track and its such a shame other un-finished tracks were not found from past Queen albums.
Gerry: If you do not like the new Brenski comments do not read them but please stop moaning because us humans have been waiting for centuries to reach some kind of 'equality and diversity' where points of view are respected, and it is a joy to see people being able to have different points of view and defending them after such a long time and all the shit from people dismissing each other just because they don't agree.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Ok, where to begin?
I must admit I don't post much on here, but just occasionally feel the need to make a comment.
I agree that everyone has their own opinion and the world would be a boring place if everyone liked the same things, but maybe a more peaceful one.
But sometimes when I read some comments on Queenzone I do think WTF!
Some people make things so personal and take things too far!
Some people for some reason think they know better than 2 of the most respected musicians in the industry today.
Think that they could do a better job than some of the best technicians.
It does baffle me sometimes, and all I can bring myself to say sometimes is GET A LIFE!!
What we get is what we get, don't like it, don't buy it.
Like it, buy it. Simples.
To end I will just add my evaluation of Forever.
Let Me In Your Heart Again......Brilliant
Love Kills.......Sounds Fantastic
TMBMTLTT........Instrumentally great, Vocal mix Awful
Hopefully some of the other tracks may have been tweeked, if not ah well never mind, still a decent compilation.
Hopefully Roger and Brian might find time to ditch Orbits mix of TMBMTLTT and use their own, if they don't that's their decision, maybe not the correct decision for everyone but that's theirs to make.
Like it buy it.......Don't then don't.
Simple.
Life's too short guys.

gerry - for the love of fucking christ above. try reading what i typed. NOT what YOU think i typed. I said "it's not bad" - that's a positive of sorts. i also commented on my observations of the track. ffs gerry listen to the track alongside Anita's version and tell me my comments aren't accurate...but don't pass global gainsaying/dismissal of my comments without making a specific point/analysis as to WHERE you think my comments are inaccurate.

my own guess? your reply is the reply of someone unable to analize music on any kind of level above "i like that" or "i don't like that"
I would certainly be interested to hear what (if anything) you are able to say about the similarities/identical status of elements of the backing track/guitars used in BOTH versions of the song. but i doubt you will. this post is completely pointless - as any replying to you. your are 100% guaranteed to argue or insult rather than actually talk properly about the music.
btw - fyi - musical discussion isn't really just a case of "i like/don't like that"

btwbtw - Gerry - do not misquote me. I have NOT told you to shut up. I have corrected you on some of your comments. and it's wrong of you to say that whenever you say anything i tell you to shut up. but why do i worry? everyone round here knows you're talking rubbish again - you usually are.

hmmmm....another topic that turns personal.

despite the hints of vocal demo status, and recycled backing track, I really enjoyed this -- imho it's as close to 'real,' 'new' Queen we may get for a while. never heard this before. Having seen the QF tracklist, I'll be looking to buy just a cd single of Let Me In. And very likely the Rainbow release

If you actually sat down and read my posts you would see that i DO talk seriously about Queens music its just you
been snide and smug saying oh you don't spell this right or you've spelt that wrong, now who's been a complete knob?
i always give my opinions and very true i am too, its just that you like to be Queen bee as usual and to be honest i did not want to go on and on as this is a thread about Queens music, but you have done it again, by causing a disagreement, so well done for that.
No one else on here goes at me the way you always do, so that must mean your just been a complete twat as per.
now please do NOT under any circumstances reply back because its you Brenski that is spoiling this thread for all of us.
Further more you are very rude for arrogantly saying that you correct me! When i need correcting i will not ask you.

Despite all negativity regarding "Queen Forever" (yes, it's a compilation, only three new tracks etc.) I quite like the concept / the song selection. And the new tracks are good (the MJ duet) or just stunning (the other two new ones).

By the way, I did a small write up in my blog:

Again, everyone's ears are different. Not a problem.

It ^^^ probably went the same place a "Victory" and a handful of other songs Play The Game (w/Andy Gibb),
and Let Me Live (w/Rod Stewart) - those four songs probably form some kind of "rainy day insurance policy, come pension fund"

i would have been glad if the michael jackson track "Theres more to life than this" was not included and we had more un-released freddie tracks.
by the way what happened to "State of shock"? i thought that would have made it on to the album?
I suspect that SOS and Victory were written by Wacko and as such his estate have more right to stop those being released than TMBMTLTT which was written by Freddie.
Of course, I reckon the reason we can only have the shit William Orbit mix is because Wacko's estate insisted on him being the dominant voice.

What I don't get is how they let out the last Wacko release with Justin Timberlake, since Wacko's vocals aren't the dominant ones (that I can tell)!
They're just being knobs for no reason that anyone can fathom.

Yep - Brian did mention '3 or 4' MJ tracks at one time - 1 more then we even knew about! We ended up with one that has been remixed by a 'world class' producer and all the good in it has been tweaked out of it for some bizarre reason.

I would bet that either we'll be seeing further Freddie+MJ tracks on another future MJ compilation (the MJ estate needs to keep churning out the product to keep the dollars rolling in) or QP have either decided to wait and release further tracks in the future, as Brenski says, top up the band members pensions funds (again). Or they are still in legal wranglings over the other tracks and couldn't wait any longer to put at least something out there.

I was kind of surprised as well that Brian and Roger didn't decide to do another song together a la 'No-One But You' - with both of them sharing vocals it wouldn't be too bad and if the quality was up to NOBY I would have been happy.

Let's just hope there is some further surprises. I do think its strange that if there are 'alternate' takes of other songs why wouldn't they be more specific in the press release?

To be honest do we really care about the michael jackson tracks = no.
After all this album is all about Freddie and should have lots of surprises on it but just one great track to which i am grateful for at least,
I mean "There must be more to life" is a waste of space and freddies vocals sound like his "out the back" making a cup of tea!
How can a Queen album be just about Freddie's voice? First and foremost it's about the songs, as is any album.

Having said the album is about Freddie's voice you then go on to say that one of the tracks is a waste of space because of the vocal
