vocal harmony: are you for real what you just said?
Beatles, Stones, Zep, Rush, etc better musicians than Queen, your having a laugh.

You might be surprised how many people would think so...........

Queen have always been the underdogs in Rock Music, and as such get forgotten in favour of Zeppelin, The Stones, AC/DC etc.......
yet none of these groups have the charisma and elegance that Queen had.
The Queen crest always looked splendid and it made a statement of royal, regal ,superior, glossy, perfection to outshine
any group on the planet, Freddie knew they were the best.
Where else could you find a group doing so much in styles of music from Rock, opera, disco, ballads, pop, etc......
you certainly would not see any major rock act in the world who would dare to do what Queen have done.
Freddie pushed the boundaries and got the lads a good pedigree in "The Rock n Roll hall of fame"!

As always, you're far off the mark Gerry. I think you'll need Google Maps to point you back in the right direction at this point .
There is only so much respect to be gained in the community here purely through ass kissing, and trust me when I say this from 14 years' experience on this board: You cannot get far with that.
Although trying to point out the facts is like trying to penetrate an Iron Curtain when it comes to factually reasoning with you, I'm putting it out there once again why I have the respect I do in the community these days, in no particular order:
•My research and contributions to websites such as Queen Vault and Queen Concerts (which unwittingly in turn earned me those previously mentioned credits in at least one publication and another upcoming publication I was made aware of privately), and more recently the Rare Shares YouTube channel. I've also shared some findings with Greg Brooks and Gary Taylor over the years.
•The bootleg remastering work I organized on behalf of GT
•Freely sharing my own bootlegs produced by myself in person (Queen + Adam Lambert, Queen Extravaganza, Queen - It's A Kinda Magic)
•The editing & uploading help I have provided for several QZ regulars' bootleg recordings
•Assisting with crowd funding and providing QC input on the "Queen Forever In Nederlands" documentary
That may not be the complete list either, but this is what I can think of off the top of my head.
What have you done along those lines to earn any credible respect, Gerry?
(Hint: Pounding your stepford "Classic Queen" chest does not count!)
The ball is in your court.

Where can I hear your bootleg remasters? I've always felt that some EQ-ing could do wonders with many of the bootlegs out there.

I don't have the links on me (currently out of the house), but we put out a previously unreleased audience tape for Earl's Court 1977 first night, as well as an alternative source for Hyde Park 1976.
Pretty sure queenconcerts.com has the download links for them on their respective pages :)

inu-liger : Sure you have your fingers in many pies,
so you should know better than supporting Lambert over Freddie that is if you really are a Queen fan.
my claim to fame is not in the technology vaults of Queen, i am just a very loyal fan over 41 years, and i have devoted my entire to Queen.
I have always defended them when they got slagged off in the press and on tv, plus i have had quite a few articles in my local newspaper on Queen were journalists would come to my house and take photographs of my entire Queen collection, one piece which was printed in the newspaper had a heading of "Gerry goes Ga Ga over Queen!
The whole city know i am nuts about Freddie.
My closest link to Freddie was Wayne Sleep the ballet dancer, and he has told me wonderful things about Freddie and his wild parties!

Who cares what any DJ thinks?
They are all either twats or pedophiles.

Made me laugh as it's almost verifiably true.
My wife and I were talking the other day about the DJ's in the 70's and we both always disliked Tony Blackburn and found him a little bit forced and creepy.
But he hasn't ever been linked to operation YewTree, and does love his music so I suppose if having a massive ego and not liking Queen is his worst fault, that's not too bad.
Lets be honest there's worse sins out there.
Never liked his style though. I was always disappointed when he presented Top Of The Pops.

well what about a camera? or a mobile phone? take a picture and upload it to Qzone
failing that...your local library will have facility for you to this...or even failing that what's the name of the "local newspapers" that you've been in...we can go to their websites and download the articles from their archives - then some kind soul will upload it to Qzone for you.
ps - don't call me a bully - i've really helped yOU here, providing FOUR ways that you can get the published stuff onto Qzone.

so which newspapers were you in, and when?
also, i'm intrigued as to what was so fascinating about your collection. there's a guy on here who actually has rare acetates and reel-to-reels and i don't recall him being in any newspapers
