The two graves the two of you are each digging continue to get deeper and deeper. A shame you can't just let the other's comments go unanswered. This perpetual cycle can't be all that fulfilling, or is it?

.Ok you said those songs were depressing which means you do not like them which then means you hate them,
Uh..........thinking a song is depressing is NOT the same as not liking it!!!! To many other people anyway, if not you! Like I said a while ago in this thread, I love '39, and that's kinda depressing, or at least not an upbeat song in any way.....

If one found a song that was depressing then why listen to it in the first place?
Please do not blame me for the tone of this discussion for it was BRENSKI who yet again got aggressive and was a vile pig with his rude comments.
We can all have a great experience on Queenzone without
brainless thugs causing us grief.
By the way he goes on its obvious he has mental health problems in his head.

right. and how happy would you be with someone continually misquoting you? would you allow someone to keep saying YOU said things you didn't?
thought not.

whereas, on the other hand - I have NEVER misquoted Gerry.

Well, maybe because there's a great musical performance in it??

And, anyway, there's no Queen songs that I would call truly depressing.....even Mother Love........its about finding peace and comfort..........even No One But You, the song written about Freddie after he died, isnt completely depressing to me....cus theres the bit about "we aint never saying goodbye"........

just because you hate 'depressing' songs doesnt mean all others do......

Gerry and brENsKi are like an old married couple.

Eh we just had this topic? In which topic starter Gerry voiced the exact same opinion he started this thread with. An opinion that is clearly and objectively wrong.

"Khashoggi's Ship" or "Party" I don't undertsand why these got included over something like "Hijack My Heart" one of my top 5 songs with Roger on lead, The Miracle is easily Queen's weakest album but even those tracks are enjoyable for me (at times)
Goin off on a tangent, but I could easily name 5 Roger-sung songs I like better than that one.....

IILWMC, FFTI, AHB, MTRnR, Drowse..........

But thats just my opinion! :D

Its just.... boring.

besides She Makes Me,I have to add;

Cool Cat
Dancer
Body Language
Man On The Prowl
My Melancholy Blues
Get Down Make Love

plus all Roger Taylor songs in the seventies except I'm In Love With May Car and Tenement Funster which are only average at best. I don't think Roger was able to write/compose a good song before Rock It. I believe he finally learned something from the other band members after/around 1980.

Brenski: you need to get a grip and take control of that anger issue you obviously have.
Stop taking things to heart and lighten up.
drop the clever dick act and let it go, it don't suit you sir!
if you have a problem with me then jog on.

I dont really care for Hijack My Heart all that much (not bad but not great, I think).....I've always thought, get rid of Party and Rain Must Fall (I kinda like Khashoggis Ship!), throw on Hang On In There and Stealin, and even maybe Chinese Torture..........bingo, best Queen album since The Game!
I don't think there's any saving for "The Miracle" at least for me. The song writing is Queen's worst and almost every track is just so cheesy they almost sound like a parody of themselves but I'll defend "Rain Must Fall" (though it took me awhile to come around to it) & the title track as really good maybe even great songs.

Lou: Hi and yeah The Miracle Album has a set of unusual songs on it, and i am not fussed on "Party" "The invisible man" & " My baby does me" all weak limp songs.
"I want it all" was a great song, and getting back to old great Queen tradition, with Mercury's rock vocals and May's blistering guitar work!
