if this was confirmed as your last chance ever to see queen(yes i know not the complete band),would you go along to a gig for sentimental reasons......say queen+adaam was the last ever tour,or looking back queen+paul was it,,,would you have gone to the concert even though you dont like the new singer...would your preduces have prevented you from going saying along the lines it aint queen....while thousands of others went along to most for the gig.but some going along because it was the last ever queen gig..and dont reply with why have mutton when we had lamb,or any of that crap...i loved queen in all forms....so would you have gone along just to say.i was at the last ever queen concert......and i have to say,,i would have gone along anyway....fred or no fred...remember this was your last chance before retirement....and PLEASE dont reply with the old saying,it aint fred.........just a simple .yes i would go or no i wouldnt go..

I wouldn't. Loads of people would enjoy it far more, so one of them should have my ticket.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

The fact is, it probably is the last chance, or at least getting very close to being the last tour. But those who don't consider this incarnation to be 'Queen', or of any real merit, aren't going to place much importance on that. I'm not one of those people; I happily saw Q+AL in Sydney last year. I'm ambivalent about Adam, but it was more than worth it to see Brian and Roger do their thing. I'm almost certain I won't get another chance to.

Last time to see Smile? Haha jk no I still think of them as Queen! And I saw them in chicago and like what was said Above I only went to see Brian and Roger tho I love everyone don't love Adam but think he held up his end of the show! Great singer. Might never have the chance to see "Queen" again but you never know.

This probably is the last chance. No thanks.

No. There's just a point where I don't want to see it anymore because it will never be as good as it was, so I'm moving on to other music - the ace records from their glory days still stand as solid masterpieces, so why make do with an inferior substitute? To be quite honest - if it hadn't been for Innuendo, I think I might just have ignored everything after The Game.

Nope , I would choose not to. Don't blame those who would. I am one of the few here, who is satisfied with Queens catalogue, legacy etc..and I treasure it dearly.
To think, 10 years from now , there's every chance that it'll be well and truly over and we'll all just have our memories.(maudlin bugger aren't I )
. To each his , or her, own.

I had a blast at the 2005 QPR tour. 2008 was a nice, but unneeded bonus.

AL just doesn't do it for me.

So, I'm fine with how things went and I'm glad I went to see them several times with Paul Rodgers.

If this is the end, than so be it.
It's good the way it is for me.

No, not really. Adam aside (I truly have nothing against him, just don't find him exciting), aging rock stars trying to recapture the glory days is just not my bag. Especially since Brian and Roger just keep rehashing the same old stuff over and over again. They have not really moved ahead as 'Queen' since 1991. Perhaps if I was born in a different generation - one without DVDs, YouTube, etc. I would go, but today I see no point in doing so.
I do have tremendous respect for the older generation of musicians (David Bowie, Robert Plant, etc) who have made the effort to come up with amazing new work.

No. As much as I respect Adam seeing him perform with the guys once is enough. If Brian and Roger had a farewell show similar to the Trubute concert with people like Bowie Plant Daltey etc then I would definitely try to go as that would be a sight to see as it would probably be the last "big" rock and roll event featuring all the greats from the 70s

I would definitely go see something like the Freddie Mercury Tribute. Brian and Roger (since I doubt we will ever see John on the bass again) performing with some amazing talent!

I probably would not, unless they came to southern Sweden and the tickets were really cheap. It's not that I don't like the concept of Maylor touring with somebody else than Freddie, it's just that I don't think Adam's the right man for the job.
