I found this link which was posted on the QueenOnline forum. Any thought, is this a fan made version. Do I hear Freddie sings new lines, or is it just my imagination?

Anyway, here is the link:

Looks like fake, but I really liked 'The Miracle'-style sound on this version!

@Antiden, it's not fake, how could it be fake? It is Freddie and Michael, my question is, is this a fan made mix, and does Freddie sing some different lines? Also I doubt it is Brian on guitar I hear, but then again, I could be misstaken. BTW: this what the original poster has posted:Queen & Michael Jackson. Is this for real. Found it on a USB stick on the sidewalk. Sounds real to me. That I found unbelievable, on an USB stick on the sidewalk........

wow,
i can't understand.
i had to listen the track on pc analyzing the spectrum, but for now i don't ear a manipulation to the well known demo of the song, the voice seems so clear...
thanks for this track Tom....and thanks to Klaus too

Goes to show you that, short of anything else, real or fan made, what an absolute abomination the Orbit mix of this song is...
The Golden Gate Bridge should have a long bungee cord for people who aren’t quite ready to commit suicide but want to get in a little practice.

The guitar is Brian's sound, but not his playing style in subtle ways. Definitely Freddie - and most likely Michael (I'm not familiar with how good any of his imposters are).

Interestingly different words here and there, but I'm not familiar enough with the original leaked demos to know if those are from there, or pasted from other Freddie tracks, or simply genuine alternate takes of this track.

As stated above, shows what a mess Orbit made of it with the mix we got.

@cmsdrums, so I gather that you also hear Freddie sing some different lyrics then?

Freddie sings "I live in hope for a world full of !!joy!!" - It wasn't on the Orbit mix or the 85' one.
Their voices are so clear, thanks very much for this.

Interesting unique mix. Better than the official release

But where's the download link? What if this is taken down?

UPDATE: durr. I'm on a mobile device. Didn't see it required registration. Thanks for the share.

Given this simple orchestration AND Brian + Roger's new takes it truly makes William Orbit's mix sound like a further piece of shit. Even just the levels. The panning

... the selections

... the fades

... the selected verses

... the. ... oh well. .. you all know he really FUCKED up a potential hit and cash grab (*at the least; as band's are usually concerned with things like being current on the charts oh.... and money)

God.

Doesn't appear to come from those leaked live takes unless someone from ILM got a hold of it and created words and phrasing that were not there on the leaked versions.

Joy and hate are unique at the very least. I wouldn't be surprised if these were intended as studio takes whereas the other versions were structural rough mixes
"Come tonight! Come see the Overbite! Come to Ogre Battle, FIGHT!"

Wow. That's cool. WTF!

So maybe it's an intentional leak of the unreleased Queen mix??

Here's a link for all the leaked versions of this song (and the famous Fred & Michael fanmix):
