Only one gripe with the Queen Romania video. ..

Well two. Could've used the video from MJ and Siedah Garrett on BAD 25 doing I just can't stop loving you for the impassioned part.

But mainly.... should've left Freddie's entire quote at the end. ... "Just think of the royalties! "

Thank you TomP63 and Beta for the interesting find.
Good clean crispy mix.
It's so different it totally feels like an other song ^^

Great find! It seems to be a completely unheard vocal take of Freddie. MJ vocal is also definitely genuine, although nothing new as far as unheard takes I think. I like it.[/QUOTE]

These sound like near final mixes.

MJ mistakenly says "C'est La Vie" as "Say la veev" in the others. In this vocal take it's clearly different and without as much ferocity (likely competing with Freddie's delivery which eventually would show on Mr. Bad Guy"

This sounds like a deliberate vocal take for a studio recording. All we'd probably heard before was probably the jam sketches.

Even restrained it sounds far better than that amateurish hack job orbit did

Actually I had the plan to contact that guy. Sounds like a German countryman at first, but then I `ve noticed that

a )

It could be a "fake" german name. "Zimmerma(n)" would be the english / american version of "Zimmerma(nn)"

b)

Two of you wankers are on the hunt for informations already I guess :)

I like this version. It starts off like a Pet Shop Boys song, and then just sails into a great clean mix.
This place used to be great, but now it is an absolute joke. For serious Queen discussion, please visit http://www.queenforum.net

Other way round Matt. On this take he correctly says 'Vie', whereas on the others he seems to say 'Vive'.

Still, you're spot-on with everythig else you said.

What an interesting curio this is. Of course, the 'found this on a USB stick on the sidewalk' is bound to be utter nonsense. This has to be a leak of some sort.

The FM and MJ tracks are obviously different to what's been released, and are obviously genuine. But the production, or at least the arrangement, sounds slightly amateur. And the guitar, as somebody else said, appears to be somebody doing a not quite convincing enough impression of Bri. So things don't quite fully add up.

Perhaps somebody connected to the crew was so pissed off with Orbit's lame mix that they grabbed some vocal tracks and came up with their own quick attempt at a Queenified version?

I really like this, it's head and shoulders above the awful Orbit mix. I would have been relatively happy if they had released this, it works. The Orbit mix just made me cringe, it was entirely embarrassing. This sounds like a proper duet. If they had vocals like this to work with how on earth did they get it so, so wrong?

Because according to Brian and Roger, the Orbit mix was the only mix the Michael Jackson estate would aprove. And Brian and Roger weren´t happy about this, so i take that the only reason they compromised like this was because contracts were already in place and they needed this song for the "Forever" collection.

Would the MJ estate have picked the same song if they would have released an album at the same time? Or do they not want to have a great product on an none MJ album?

^ BoHardy. That's exactly what I said. In the other versions that were leaked it was "veev" in this it's "vie".

You just reiterated what I'd said. Maybe a slight case of being misread.

Whatever the case it's great to hear

Rog: Bri, we should do it.

Bri: Yep. Agreed. LEAK THE FUCKING BETTER VERSION. Who cares about Orbit's mix.

Rog: YAY!

Absolutely great to hear and for 3 minutes it doesn't care if it's real or not!
Thanks for bringing this up.

I've shared this link on social media, but surprisingly amongst 12 people it hasn't expanded exponentially! !

Too bad I'm not a social network whore. This should be news. At least trending for a minute

I'm pretty certain that the guitars are Brian's as well. It's just that they sound more like backing guitars, for a soaring guitar solo that for one reason or another isn't present.
