Sounds great. :)

Are there actually 6 BBC sessions? Do they have multi-tracks or will it be just be "remasters" of stuff we've already heard?

If there are truly 6 cd's...

1 for the concert (Golder Greers)
1 for sessions 1 and 2
1 for sessions 3 and 4
1 for sessions 5 and 6

And the other two cd's? 160 mins top with what, interviews maybe?

But many of those sessions have tracks that are almost exactly identical to the album versions. Why would they bother make 6 CD's and including those?

Not many. March of the Black Queen is the only one identical. The rest have some resounding differences - some more than others. If they are going to do an On Air released based on BBC recordings than similarities or not it should be as complete as possible - every session, every recording - I'd even want them to include Black Queen.

I'd want to see a more firm source about 6 CDs to believe it. Sorry Walter....I mean I hope you're right. I was realistically hoping for a 3 CD, the 6 sessions and Golders Green Show. 3 EXTRA CDs worth of stuff would be awesome - hopefully not *ALL* Interviews. I expect at *LEAST* one cd to be full of interviews though - radio appearances, etc. Either way, I think this is a release I'll highly enjoy.

I want the 6 cd theory confirmed too.

Just a crazy thought, if is called "On Air" and not "Live at BBC" technically couldn't be the last two discs Argentina 81 or Mannheim 86? Those shows were broadcasted aswell. It will also makes sense, a show from the first tour (Golders) and another from the last one (Mannheim)

Probably not...

Based on some of the 2011 bonus content, pointless CD singles boxes, and countless hits collections, that's exaactly what they do...!!

6 discs, one disc for each session lasting 15-20 minutes. It's Queen Productions after all!

Are the rumors about a 1982 session total BS? I remember once seeing a photo of something that looked like the video for Las Palabras de Amor, but with an audience. I think someone posted the pic here at some point.
