Golders Green has to be included!!! I hope they include ALL BBC-material.

This is QP you're talking about. You'll probably get a CD with half the BBC sessions on it with a booklet intensively researched by GB with the wrong dates for most of the songs. And a limited box set including a repro of a Golders Green ticket and an extra CD with three tracks from that gig!

It will be all 6 sessions plus some other stuff too.

"Some other stuff" at least has to mean they include Golders Green.
Actually Greg Brooks once mentioned a great BBC-related item they found. Something everyone had forgotten about and that's nowhere available. This should be included too!

any estimated date of at least an announcement?

As a contact told me, it will be announced for fall, When, I don´t know.

Bet they want to capitalise big on Freddie's 70th birthday and the 25th anniversary of his passing.
Expect stuff around Nov 2016.

Yeah, I'm guessing a September announcement and the release on November...

I'd be happy with the complete BBC studio sessions (including MOTBQ - I did detect minor variations but been a while since I listened) plus tracks from Golders Green not featured on other sessions so to avoid too many duplicates of tracks rather than the entire gig.
Unless the studio sessions were on CD, but, say, the GG gig was complete but on vinyl. Something like that rather than all crammed over several CDs.
I'm just thinking aloud.

If this will presumably be a CD only release (no visual material) what are the chances there'll be a DVD of something else released this Autumn (not Fall haha!!) as well.
Maybe ALL promo videos finally? In one big Greatest Video Hits Complete package??
Well, I can dream...

Is there any chance that they have unreleased BBC Sessions such as from maybe ADATR, ANATO and Jazz? Possibly ADATR since they recorded Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy?
Killer_queenIII · Member since
They only did six sessions, during the Q1, Q2, SHA and NOTW. Here's the list of the sessions:
Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy was only for the Top of the Pops, and not part of the sessions included in the above site.

The perfect Queen on Air release would be the 24 tracks (23 without Black Queen?) plus the Golder Greers concert.
I hope they won't screw this one up. Let's continue on the tradition of good releases after Rainbow and Hammy.

I wonder if they have a version of the Golders Green concert that doesn't have the vocal track issues that are present in all the currently circulating versions...

it seems that Queen On Air will release on 4th november,.
