We also have to clarify some things here. There are two following questions which should be answered:
1) With Queen On Air, was the purpose of this release presenting to us what was heard and in what quality on the day of the original broadcast?
2) Did Queen Archivist or someone from the Queen Productions went to local radio archives (BBC, Argentinian and German Radio) and looked for the best possible sources ? Or if the answer to the question 1) is "yes", Queen Productions has in their archives a better sources but presented us the quality in which the material on the release was presented on the original day of the broadcast ?
I think that depends on the publishing rights and ownership. Probably queen has access to the orginal mastertapes and made a perfect scan of it with the best modern technology. The OLd copy of the master from the bbc tapes isn't used I think. QP has to work with the BBC as there are clear logo 's of them on all the packaging formats, and pay a decent amount of money or a percentage of the earnings. Depends on the deal they made.

That's great when it comes to the BBC material but what about the audio sources of the live material ? Is it possible that they have pre-FM source, copy of the masters from the respective radio stations ?
As for the Golder's Green... Was it recorded that way on that particular day in 1973, that even with access to the BBC master, you can't do anything with Freddie's voice being so low in the mix ?

Hard to say - I have my doubts with Mannheim, and the other two are maybes. Only the players involved know for sure. But to be absolutely fair - these are almost certainly the best sources possible for these shows, so credit where credit is due.
GG is a stereo master, not 16 or 24 track - what we have is what we have.

Just a pity they do not seem to realise that they can make a huge amount of fans ecstatically happy by just releasing those recordings which is a low cost operation for them anyway!
Isn't that sourced from the Magic Years (1986) documentary?

Yes, how lucky to have Queen on Air
Not like the Floyd box... poor Pink Floyd fans, they even get a live unoboxing and explanation of the sources used (multitracks, monos etc..) and Nick Mason that answering fans' questions

In fairness, the Floyd box is so expensive I'd expect the remaining members to deliver it personally to me before I signed the cheque.

At least they remedied that by planning to release the different volumes in the box separately next year.

I suspected plenty of 0dB peaking, do you actually have the m4a apple lossless 24/96 files?
I thought some of the sessions were only 16/48.

Now THIS is how you make and present a proper box set! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6Hkt0wzDYg

Session 3 is sourced from 16/48.
However, like the 2011 remasters, 24/96 "masters" were created as the output files and it's these which are being offered for sale online.
