1981 gig...Dragon Attack played before Now I'm Here? Does this mean they are putting these on the cd out of running order, or is it actually just the Now I'm Here reprise version? (ie effectively just one vocal line, once round the riff and Roger's solo to end?)

Is the extended intro to the session 3 Ogre Battle going to be included?

MoTBQ maybe the album version, but the version which was used for the Beeb was a stand alone version. So it's in its right it should have been added to this useless collection. It was broadcast, plus it is the only stand alone version I can think of. So it is Queen On Air minus one, that should be the title then?

Awful. Won't be buying it. Fuck you Queen productions.

from the press release
"But there is another side to Queen’s rise that has been largely overlooked. Between February 1973 and October 1977, the band recorded six radio sessions exclusively for the BBC. The twenty four recordings these landmark sessions produced include alternate versions of the debut single, unique takes of classic album tracks and even a radically reworked reimagining of one of their best known anthems that has never previously appeared on any Queen studio release."
Yes....overlooked by Queen Productions only. These could have been added onto the HR remixes from the early 90s. Or, as 'promised' in ....what was it, 1999? Hell, I would have bought the 2011 rereremasters had they been included. Or paid double for the Beeb issue of '91.
To think that my only official copy of the fast WWRY is from a Sun promo disc. That version could have found its way onto Greatest sH*ts III.
Well....at least I can buy JUST the two disc release to make up for the OK versions ripped from youtube. So much for Golders Green.
Well done yet again QP. The heads are still up their arses after all these years.
In the topic I mention here, Greg Brooks wrote:
"A Queen BBC session, containing a mega rare item no-one knows exists.. including us until 2 years ago. We just paid a fan for that. "
Even that is NOT included in this set.
This release is utter crap. And that's me being gentle about it.

Why, oh why, oh why edit the concerts?? Surely to God we have had enough of that with Live Magic and even the edited version of Live Killers released I believe in South Africa. Then, 3 CD's of interviews instead? Silly me, I was thinking that they might be clever, imaginative and original and pull out a recording of the Marquee show where they played Jesus and The Night Comes Down; a studio version of Hangman, the other studio version of The Night Comes Down that didn't make the first Album, Polar Bear, Silver Salmon....oh what the fuck. Yes all the BBC sessions will be welcome, but this other shite is bordering on insulting.

Nothing wrong with the 3 LP version.
I even like the artwork.
The deluxe 6cd version of course is a joke.

The 6 CD version looks like the same style box The CD Single Collections came in.
That cover artwork is really special, huh?

Hmm. I was expecting something a bit better than this. Which band sells a box set with 3 damn CDs of interviews?!?
Can't say I'm too keen to spent 44 quid on 3 cut concerts... think I'll have to pass.
QPL, good job, another masterpiece offering :/

At least I know what to expect as Bonus for next years' rererererererelease of Greatest Hits:
Another fuc*ing interview CD.
This set must be a joke and is an Insult to fans.

'See What A Fool I've Been'.....well, surely they could insert and 'fix' what needs to be fixed where needed for Golders Green. And provide from other sources to make the set list 'complete'.
As to TMOTBQ: here is the stand alone from 'Deep Cuts'

Though it was not the BBC/studio version of its time, I would not have had a problem with its inclusion for this release.
btw....any balloons in the deluxe set?

Brian May ‘Freddie And Too Much Love Will Kill You’ with Simon Bates (August 1982)[/QUOTE]
They're a decade off, as clarified in the write-up. Who's in charge here !? How embarrassing on so many levels.
QP are completely and utterly out of touch with reality. Hardcore fans are not going to buy a product containing material that has been otherwise out there for many years (or even decades). But when you have no informed advisors who actually know what's been circulating for ages, this is what you get.
Jimmy Page has made sure that every Zeppelin release has previously unseen/unheard material. Floyd, Springsteen, King Crimson ... their boxed sets all contain hours of stuff nobody has seen or heard.
This, by comparison, is a complete joke.
It's nice that they're finally putting out the complete BBC sessions, but squeezing three incomplete concerts onto one disc (that have long been bootlegged in complete form) is just a slap in the face of people who have supported this band both morally and with their wallets for so many years.
Rainbow was a hiccup, folks. It's back to business as usual.
