Ok...i think that if they ONLY release the BBC sessions WITHOUT interviews and NO live recordings. In this way i think that all of us will be happy with only 2 discs and no more. No will be comments like "why 3 discs with interviews?" Why 1 disc with three incomplete gigs?" Why Golders Green is incomplete?" I think that Queen should do the things COMPLETE or not do it directly.

Queen were always a highly commercial band, albeit usually with enough artistic merit in the actual music to balance this out.
Since 1991 it's been commerce only.
Don't kid yourself - Queen were a brand long before 1991.
Let's not forget that plenty of greatest hits compilations came out before Freddie Mercury died.
And nobody in their right mind can accuse Made In Heaven as being a money grab. Love it or hate it, it was done because they wanted to make a final album for its own sake, not for the money. It just happened to be their best-selling album in the UK !
So let's not pull the wool over our eyes, somehow implying that Mercury was the commercial conscience of the band. Or do we need to pull out all the quotes of his about doing it for the money?

They are making 1995 business decisions in 2016. Things have changed in the market but they seem completely unaware. In 2016 - in the midst of the biggest economic crisis since the 1930's and with lots of stuff available for free (youtube) - you have to give people value for money and not just sell plastic. Other bands show what to do. QPL is just the dinosaur in the pack, soon to become irrelevant in the market of archival releases (which is huge now!).
Freddie died in 1991. He didn't even know the internet. In no way is he responsable for the current bad decisionmaking.

Re pulling off all comments about this release on the Official site, maybe Kim Jong Un is their new webmeister? At least someone got the general consensus of opinion.

I had a long thought about this and i've decided not to buy it. It's too dissapointing to spend money on.
Agree. I would buy 2CD but it's not even full sessions.

^ What's the problem with 2CD ? No album mix of TMOTBQ? So what...?

^ What's the problem with 2CD ? No album mix of TMOTBQ? So what...? Because for the moment there is no good and valid explantion why 'they' left off MoTBQ, the same goes for the GG concert? MoTBQ was aired and was used as an BBC session, album version or not, it should be featured on the Air compilation. But that's my thought about MoTBQ, I find the omission rather peculiar.

Yup, can't disagree with you there.

Just noticed a significant price reduction for the 6 cd set on Amazon UK - was originally £43.99 but it's now £31.07 - a response to the criticism perhaps?
QOL Store price is still the same as it was though so maybe not.

I see this as well. This price is more acceptable to me, despite the box set being half-assed.
When the 6 boxset price went down, the 2CD and vinyl set prices went up!
I guess Amazon are dong their usual messing about with prices until the day before. Makes you wonder how they actually ever sell any Queen content. I know I won't entertain them at their current vinyl price...
