The Queen biopic is slowly coming together now. We've known for a long time that Rami Malek will play Freddie Mercury. There has been some news lately. Bryan Singer uploaded a picture of himself in front of a model of the Live Aid stage set. In the background we can see a lot of Queen pictures through the years. There are writings on the pictures, but its not possible to tell what it says.

A couple of days ago reports said that Eastenders star Ben Hardy had been chosen to play Roger Taylor. This is now confirmed by imdb.com.

I dont know anything about his ability as an actor. But lookswise he looks perfect for the role:

Definitely does! Top of the pops was the first one I noticed. And yes, some of the headers are in fact readable with some imagination.
Am I the only one excited about this movie by now? It has such a potential if done right. It could of course turn out disappointing, but I choose to look at this as an opportunity to get something brilliant.

I would prefer a fictional story featuring the band. Any one of these would do:
- fighting aliens on a planet far far away
- time travel story where they find out they are their own grandfathers. Or something.
- Queen versus Dracula.
- Queen in a submarine versus Japanese whale hunters
- Terminator-style story where Arnie has to kill Fred to stop Hot Space being released.
