Actually, I thought Freddie was the funniest of them all. His quote when Bob Harris asked him about what his solo album would be like was brilliant imo :)
"Normally i can't dance to save my life. But as soon as I step in dog shit, I can moonwalk better than Michael Jackson."

I chuckled when Freddie said that Brian broke a string in the most awkward moment.

Great and frustrating for all the above reasons. Great bit of film, towards the end, of the load out at the end of a show ( Houston?) where Ratty runs around Johns backline a couple of times being chased by the camera man.

There is obviously a ton of footage, had this gone to Blu Ray they could have had extra chapters showing more of the recording sessions, WATC video filming Sheperton rehearsals and behind the scenes on the tour!

Followed by. . . . . Hammersmith again! Same didn't allow the BBC to screen Houston!

That was good too as well as the bit where Freddie said he nearly went arse over tit whilst running on to Now Im Here lol

Well, that was an exercise in alternately "FUCK, there's footage of that???" and "Wait, go back, show me more and stop talking over it"

Recording sessions for It's Late, Champions, Melancholy Blues, including three of them starting to mix Champions.
Soundcheck of TYMD, Brian arguing with Freddie at another soundtcheck
Tour rehearsals at Shepperton - discussing the setlist "You can't say We WILL Rock You AFTER you've rocked them"
Some party with a paper cup fight, drunk Roger and clearly a good time brewing
More backstage stuff (some already seen)
Bits of Houston ( I think that and possibly Earl's Court are the only concert footage)
More interviews (John's passenger seat interview is in RT's Range Rover as they both drive to Shepperton for rehearsals

plus...Freddie drinking out of a can with the four-pack plastic still attached, and Brian's stereotypical 70's Y fronts

There's so much material, it's ideal for a Blu-Ray - an hour of main content, plus extras of - extended rehearsal, extended studio, etc

In short, it's both fabulous and frustrating.

Trying to understand why people still mention Earls Court shows from A Day At The Races tour and being mad about nothing being included in a boxset about News Of The World album and tour.

That's true - can't have been Earl's Court - unless they reused some of the footage silently / with studio tracks over the top.

It wasn't a suggestion that EC should be on the box though...??

If it was, don't know. I just know i've seen to many people here and on the official forum complain about the lack of Earls Court on the boxset.

Was the John passenger seat interview in a Range Rover? It looked more like a Rolls Royce that Roger was driven. Maybe the one Freddie just bought?
And now the big question will be: Is the doc on the DVD on the forthcoming boxset exactly the same. The running time matches though.

So frustrating :(

so much footage we won't ever get to see :(

How much of the footage is a repeat?

That wasn't Earls Court. It was Ft. Worth I think.

Bits and pieces of the interviews were in Magic Years. And Days Of Our Lives. And probably all the other cut-and-paste documentaries.

Yes, it was a Range Rover, I said it was a Range Rover.

Later on, we see Roger stepping down out of a vehicle. There's no Rolls Royce that one climbs down out of, and the car has no flying lady on the front.

Apart from that, yeah if you like, Roger was driving Freddie's Rolls...
