That’s a bit harsh....’Days of Our Lives’ is great and pretty much the definitive documentary. Even ‘The Magic Years’ and ‘Champions of the World’ were lauded on release.

I wonder why the quality of the video footage varies so much. In example at the beginning of the backstage footage after the show the image is very sharp and obviously shot on film. Then they show something else and go back to the backstage stuff and both the image and sound is crap. I'm sure that bad footage was still shot on film but something has happened to it over the years. It happened quite a few times during the program.

Including in some cases the same recording (interviews with individuals)

Now that i've watched this beautiful (and way too short) documentary, the question now is, will the documentary in the boxset be the same or does it contain some extra bits? Someone on QZ said that this was NOT the documentary in the boxset although the running time on both is the same. We'll find out in less than 2 weeks.
Shame that they showed so little because there are hours and hours of outtakes with Bob and the band. The individual interviews, the album launch party. So much more has been shot and kept under wraps.

But how much work would it have been for them to include the complete interviews as an extra on a bluray f.ex? I dont mean to be negative, but they could have done a bit more with this for the box release.

Annoying to see Freddie start SYW then audio switches to album version.

Best Queen product for 20 years and people still annoyed.

I agree with you mooghead. To be annoyed about this is quite destructive if we want more releases like this. I loved the documentary. But I wish they could have stuck in some extras for the box set release. Wouldnt be much work to assemble the complete individual interviews or something. But I guess someone would complain no matter what they put in there.
