Who has to forgive me for becoming a Queen/Freddie fan after Freddie died? Is that unforgivable or something? I don't think so.
I happen to think the Freddie Tribute was a great concert for the most part. Not only the music side of it, but to raise awareness too.
Since then, I spent money through the years buying albums, DVDs and more. I plan to get the anniversary set of NOTW sometime n the future. How about you?
You mentioned watching Live Aid. On TV. Have you purchased any Queen albums, etc before that? Funny you don't mention that, just that you watched Live Aid. That doesn't make you a fan. Remember on QOL, you wrongly stated Freddie wore his crown and cape at Live Aid?

I have Queen Hits I And II and played both of them driving to and from QAL opening night in Chicago in 2014. It was a fabulous trip and completely enjoyed meeting the many Queen/Adam fans from all over the US at our hotel.

I also have the At the Rainbow album, Wembley, Montreal And Hungarian Rhapsody DVDs. I have Made in Heaven and News Of The World CDs. My son has A Night At The Opera. Stop trying to compete with me, icy, over Queen. We both love the music even though I am more positive and less critical about it than you are!

I thought of two more songs QAL has performed in recent years — Love Kills and I Was Born To Love You!

You brought into the discussion that I wasn't a fan until after Freddie died. Were you hoping to shame me by that? I'm not ashamed by that, but I do regret not being a fan while Freddie was still alive. I do my part in buying, playing the music so that it continues to live on. I did that before Q+AL, during it, and I will after.
Don't lash out and then try to backtrack, it makes you look silly. I've never gave anyone a hard time for going, or not going to Q+AL concerts...that's your desperate tactic. I'm glad Q+AL gives you joy, but how I look at it, there could be so much more than a greatest hits set list.

Icy, please go back to QOL and Spread your negativity there. I don’t like negativity. I like positive people. That’s why the QAL collaboration is so appealing!

I'm allowed here, thanks very much ;-).
No, you don't like being wrong or even willing to learn about things. That's not being positive, that's you with your head in the sand.

This ‘Sweet Caroline’ things is surely a piss take yeah?

Or is it Brian??

If it's a piss take, it's not a very good one.

Brian and Roger are getting really lazy. The setlist has remained almost unchanged over the years, but why o why cant they suprise is at every concert or every 2-3 concerts with just ONE 3-4 minute song. Something they've never played. If 95% of the show is filled with "Greatest Hits" what is the issue for them to not include just ONE song once in a while just to surprise the fans.

I dont think that it is impossible to rehears 4-5 new songs during a full leg of a tour. Adam can sing about anything, and as long as Roger plays the beat and Brian plucks a few strings, I think they could pull it of.

The could be doing teaser (1-2 minutes) or full versions of the following songs - again just ONE new song per 3-4 concerts ...

Doing All Right
Dreamer's Ball
Good Company
Headlong
It's a Hard Life (they played it live a couple of years ago in the Royal Albert Hall)
Let Me In Your Heart Again (chord wise, not that complicated)
Put out the Fire
You & I (as long as Brian remembers the solo, this is an easy one)
My Melancholy Blues (it's mostly piano and bass if they would play a teaser)

Apparently, there ended up being only a day or two of rehearsals before this tour started. I wish they put more effort into it. Sadly, for whatever reasons they didn't bother to do it. And it's the fans who are left wanting and dare I say deserve more than what we are getting from it, IMO.

^yes. And yet they did its late and spread your wings pretty well.

I even bugged Brian about that in the last autograph session he had.

Kinda.

Heavily suggesting it was great that they PUT IN ITS LATE AND SPREAD YOUR WINGS i was awestruck.

But. It held no favor.

Probably said. Ell.....that's ONE of you

Somebody to Love
Crazy Little Thing Called Love
Under Pressure
A Kind of Magic
I Want to Break Free

I think the above set idea is almost perfect. Innuendo at the start gives me pause, not sure how that would be at the start.
There was three days break between shows recently. Apparently, no time was taken to tinker with the set list. I had high hopes song list wise for this European tour. I was hoping DOOL, IL and SYW would've made a comeback to the shows. It didn't happen obviously. For me its very disappointing all around.

For the disbelievers and malcontents who are not satisfied with this set list:

“One of the best shows I have ever saw. Thank you a lot @QueenWillRock and @adamlambert ????”
