The show is magnificent just the way it is — that’s why they aren’t changing anything. In my opinion they added “A Kind Of Magic” to give Roger another solo besides “I’m In Love With My Car” and the drum battle.
Of course you would say it's magnificent, perfect, spectacular etc etc. Your fella, your heart-throb is singing the songs, so what else could you say? You don't find anything lacking, because you aren't a Queen fan. That's fine, but you can't even try to understand where some of us are coming from. I miss what isn't there, and yes I think it could be so much better. That doesn't make me a malcontent, not a fan, whatever else you feel like throwing around. You can say whatever the hell you want to about me, but at least try to hear the other fans out n the midst of your copying and pasting tweets, links, and promotion about AL. See, you barely add anything rational to these discussions...you shut everyone down that you don't agree with. And that's too bad, because I'm sure you think you are helping Lambert someway, but you aren't. You make it seem like he needs constant defense and promotion at all cost. And then you wonder why you are banned from Qol? You did the same thing there for years. I'm pretty sure you will do the same once you go back. And you will go back, because you feel you have to defend and promote him no matter what.
Think about it sweetcaroline, if I thought he was crap singing It's Late, would I be hoping it would be back for this tour? You litreally can't see or take in another POV.
Well, the show was this year really enjoyable. But if they call it and designed it as an anniversary tour, they should play at least two more songs from NOTW album.
What they played and how is fine, lights and stage were great. But the problem was omitting NOTW songs. It surely makes even robot Frank sad :/
Why not rip the place to shreds and start with?
WWRY Fast
Sheer Heart Attack (place going ballistic)
You're my best friend..
And voila into the pop part of the show if need be.
Also I cannot think of a better song to return to the stage to than It's Late, FFS it even says so.
LOTV, if you are in the UK I hope you are going to this show! You will LOVE it!
As I’ve said before, fast WWRY would NOT be appropriate for the slow moving robot in the opening and Hammer To Fall is perfect. The audience response to this opening has been great with lots of screaming!

Gotta give credit to Roger how clever he is.
He's drumming to a minimum yet he fills the spaces brilliantly and the drums are amplified more then usual to give it the powerful thump .
What do you mean the drums are amplified more than usual. Within the mix the drums are no louder than usual.
Some of the posts above prove why this tour has become a "take the money and run" event: I don't have a dream setlist. Nor do I want WWRY (Fast) to open every show. What's wrong with mixing the shows up?
For example, imagine hearing THE HERO / SEVEN SEAS / KYA / WWRY (FAST) to open one night, and then NOW I'M HERE / TYMD / HAMMER TO FALL the next.
The only thing I would expect (and accept) is that in a show of 25 songs is for six or seven to be ever presents throughout a tour. So I'd be fine with an early three pack like LAP OF THE GODS / SEVEN SEAS / KQ (as per the 2014/15 shows), a Brian acoustic spot, GA GA into BO RHAP and then WWRY/WATC. The two double hits could interchange, and even come with a song before Rock You (eg TYMD, Spread Your Wings, TSMGO).
It didn't take long to put together this list of songs performed by Q+AL since 2012 - they could have good fun picking 25 of these every night, experimenting with pacing/segues etc (lower case are those performed/sung by Brian):
’39
A KIND OF MAGIC
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST
BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY
CRAZY LITTLE THING CALLED LOVE
DON’T STOP ME NOW
DRAGON ATTACK
FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS
GET DOWN MAKE LOVE
GHOST TOWN
I’M IN LOVE WITH MY CAR
IN THE LAP OF THE GODS…REVISITED
IT’S LATE
I WANT IT ALL
I WANT TO BREAK FREE
I WAS BORN TO LOVE YOU
KEEP YOURSELF ALIVE
KILLER QUEEN
Las Palabras De Amor
LOVE KILLS
Love Of My Life
NOW I’M HERE
ONE VISION
PLAY THE GAME
RADIO GA GA
SAVE ME
SEVEN SEAS OF RHYE
SOMEBODY TO LOVE
Somebody to love
SPREAD YOUR WINGS
STONE COLD CRAZY
Teo Torriatte
THE HERO
THESE ARE THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES
THE SHOW MUST GO ON
TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN
Tie Your Mother Down
TWO FUX

They were more exciting and a rock band back then. Adam is better less polished. Sadly I never saw them back then as I wasn't convinced by what I'd seen on TV.
I know absolutely nothing about it but I bet it would be a nightmare for the production crew to deal with a different set list every night!

50 years ago, maybe. Now, it's easy.
1. Lights can be programmed long in advance.
2. Lyrics can be saved and simply put on autocues within seconds.
3. Any talented sound engineer will be able to mix on the fly.

Translation: "we've got a load of hits, we've been playing the same ones for decades, so why would we bother rehearsing for days on end when we can charge big money just to show you some new lights."
Granted, the visuals of the 2017 tours look fab. But they've only had the dreadful ones from the 2008 and 2015 shows to beat. It's not hard.
The screen film for '39 in 2015 looks like it was done by some 13-year-old school kid. Awful.
I agree with your comment on 39 from 2015.
However the last two arena tours, production wise have been brilliant. The present easily beats what came before. The late 70's and 80's shows were amazing but very much of there time. No video production, pre focused pre coloured Par Can lighting. No real set to, apart from 84 and less so in 86. Compared to LED screens, lasers, modern "intelligent" lighting units, line array PA's that focus the sound. It really puts the old shows in the dark ages in the history of live production.
The real problem is what the band are choosing to do with this incredible production, unfortunately they seem to be wasting opportunities to present a musically different show.
The audiences are happy and satisfied and if you are there in person you are thrilled. It doesn’t matter what they play because their music is powerful and meant to be played on large arenas and stadiums!
Are you now the spokesperson for every audience member?
The fact is they've sold tickets to a lot of people who were expecting a lot of NOTW and maybe a few more deep cuts or not played before songs because that's what they all said this tour was about!
