Another proof that Glamtarts no nothing about Queen. Even Freddie admitted that it is sometimes scary to command a crowd and there can be some sort of fascims to the whole thing the video to Radio Gaga can be compared visually to early Nazi meetings in Nuremberg with fists in the air and someone commanding them. It was also theme of Metropolis the movie.
And it was deliberately done like this. As you dont have any clue about Queen and their history and obviously like the song to be performed as cabaret joke why don't you just bugger off to your Adamfuckia sites. And why is there the homphobic card played again? We don't care who the goat is fucking for god's sake. He is just a worthless Idol loser
It‘s you, who should learn about Queen‘s history. You even sound, as if you listened to too much neo-nazi propaganda. There was some speculation, but you and bucsateflon are talking facts.

Quote:(http://www.songfacts.com/facts/queen/radio-ga-ga)
„Some critics feel the choreography in the hand-clapping scene is a reference to Nazis, an idea that Mallet dismisses: "It didn't really have any bearing on Nazi rallies at all." Roger Taylor added: "That section was meant to sort of portray the mind control of the workers in the movie Metropolis."

It takes a „strange“ mind to read a nazi reference into that video. Especially for fans, who know about the band and its members.

You have no clue at all

You don't have a clue at all. Metropolis pre-dates the rise to power of nazism by some five years. Your interpretation of the Ga Ga-video is bizarre and counterfactual - literally the whole video is about the film Metropolis.

When you say "the video to Radio Gaga can be compared visually to early Nazi meetings in Nuremberg with fists in the air and someone commanding them", you prove your historical ignorance - that wasn't a unique or even a striking thing about nazi-rallies, as this kind of mass-meeting was common all across the political spectrum in the interbellum, throughout Europe. Socialists, social democrats, liberals and conservatives all over the place held mass-meetings like this - and if they shared a common inspiration, it was late 19th century outdoor religious rallies.

You follow the above statement with "It was also theme of Metropolis the movie." No, it wasn't. To prove that is the easiest thing in the world: when the script to Metropolis was written, in 1924, the nazis had only held two minor rallies, one in Munich and one in Nuremberg, with minimal attendance, and hardly anyone who wasn't actually a nazi had even heard of these rallies, let alone seen them. Even when the film was released, in 1927, nazi rallies were still a marginal event - they didn't become the huge Nuremberg rallies we know until after the nazis came into power after the 1932 election, and the very first nazi-rally that attracted a serious level of outside attention was in 1929, two years AFTER Metropolis was released.

Sure, as long as you and your sidekick Mr Right stop trolling this forum with your hatred for Adam Lambert. There is no need to drone on and on about it at every opportunity.

Talk some sense into bucsateflon too. You three are singlehandedly turning this forum into a shithole.

On this forum Adam haters are well established group of people, what I come to realize these past couple of weeks is this new group of fake Queen fans, very shallow and superficial, the kinda people who think DSMN is the greatest song or AL is as good musician and singer as Freddie or some of them think Queen is just Freddie or say stupid shit like "Queen was never a real rock band" or "Queen almost always presented themselves as a rock band on stage" which come from sheer ignorance and stupidity.
Unlike Adam haters this new group of FAKE Queen fans acts subversively in perfidious manner to instate their own beliefs as the general rule.
On this forum there are three well established idiots who claim to represent the imagined masses.

At least the new fans are fans and don't try to perpetrate hatred towards the individual band members and (fellow) fans.

Yes Queen presented themselves as a rock band. John Deacon even compared the their show to Kiss but he also said that they had aided scope and played far outside the rock field.

I guess your reply will be that Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon was the precursor to speed metal

The last sentence of your post with its political overtones sounds like a discripton of what you and your two side kicks are trying to achieve, fruitless as it maybe.
