I couldn’t put into words my impressions right away and had to think about it for awhile because it was different from what I expected. To me the way the story was presented was more of a downer than to be uplifting and inspiring. Maybe they needed to emphasize more about Freddie’s illness and how he carried on in spite of it.

What were you expecting, genuine question? It was said for ages it would end at Live Aid.
Freddie worked his ass off in his last years. That is actually32 inspiring and courageous, I wish that was a part of the biopic.
I agree...Those last years was Inspiring, not sure how they could leave that out. Maybe a part 2? This movie did so well, maybe they make a part 2 of the final years...I doubt It though.

My gut tells me Freddie's last year's will never be on the big screen.
But the music he left us with during his last years, it's pretty amazing. It still holds up today.

I think they purposely chose to end with Live Aid because it was the best live performance ever of any group and so special. That was why the timelines of his illness were out of place. Live Aid was supposed to be the inspiring part of the movie — and it was.

One more thing. I think the recreating of the “I Want To Break Free” music video was a hoot!

Timelines about the actual music and years it happened were out of place.
I love Queen at Live Aid. Rightly so, it is legendary. Personally, I find Freddie working as hard as he did while ill very courageous and t speaks volumes about the determination of the man. The last few years of Freddie's life and the music of that time is very important I feel.

Yup, Innuendo and the last tracks on Made In Heaven were great...That's what happens when Freddie was focused on only music. Don't forget Barcelona, one of his best as well. The Miracle was ok, but a step back from the creative Barcelona and Innuendo.

I love The Miracle. So much emotion in those last few albums.

I should probably google this but does anyone know the history of Track 13 on the Made in Heaven album?

They have been playing it before the live QAL shows and it is mesmerizing.

It's based on a loop of the Beautiful Day opening sequence.

The actress playing Freddie's Sister gets my rock hard Oscar, maaaan
I wouldn't kick the actress playing his mum out of bed either.

Oh to be the filling of a Bulsara sandwich...
