Bohemian Rhapsody Biopic No. 1 in many countries!

I bet they're planning a sequel already.

I already said that...Bohemian Rhapsody 2, the final years..

The movie is a monster hit so far. Wonder if there is a slight chance they will make another one. But the way the current one was made probably ruins that chance. First movie could have ended with Queen going top in USA f.ex. Then it would be easier to continue the story covering the 80-91. How can they make a part two when they have already touched upon Live Aid, his death etc. ? There are many goodies left though. Live at Wembley, Knebworth, Barcelona sessions, his bravery in studio while being sick, The Show Must go On, Innuendo etc. Not sure if Brian and Rogers wants to go too deep into that period of his life. We will see though. Can anyone provide a quick scrips for Part two? :)

yea, don't think It will catch Straight Out Of Compton though...still, breaking records for this type of film...Maybe Thanksgiving weekend It stays strong.

A sequel would actually be really easy to script. It's 1989/1990 and Freddie is recording Innuendo and MIH. He looks back at his life through numerous flashbacks to events that were ignored in the first movie - mistakes and glorious events. The film might even end with the Queen+AL tours and some kind of cheesy reference to how Freddie is smiling in heaven :D

Leave off the QAL part and that could actually work.

could work easily....The Magic Tour was their biggest...Recording Barcelona....While ill bonding with Queen recording The Miracle and Innuendo, Mother Love/Winters Tale...Freddie's death, Bo Rhap and Waynes World, Tribute Concert ending the movie...Some drama between Mary and Jim If they decide to go that route...Don't think It will happen though, but they should cover those last 5 years...Could this be the reason why they ended the Movie in 1985? Just In case it was a big success they could make part 2?

Making a movie covering only 5-6 years could actually be easier for the scripswriters. The main issue many have with the current movie is the pacing and too many years to cover in two hours. What would the conflict in the movie be though? Hollywood loves to have a villain. Maybe the british press? And rightly so. Insulting the press wouldnt be popular though. Bad reviews guaranteed!

I am not sure if I want the tribute concert in there at all. Wouldnt it be impossible to get the rights from all the artists performing there? Sounds difficult.

- Starting off the movie on a big high after Live aid. It could start at the end of Live aid. Montage? Crazy Little thing called love? Is this the world we created?
- Creating songs in studio: A kind of Magic, One Vision etc
- Queen out on tour covering Wembley and Knebworth.
- Freddie saying that he will never play live again.
- Freddies adventure with Monsterrat Caballe.
- Creating songs in studio: I want it all, Breakthru etc
- Queen pulling together against the press due to Freddie's illness.
- Showing Freddie in studio doing incredible things despite have health problems.
- Making of Innuendo, The Show Must go on, Winters Tale etc
- We want to end on a high. How?
