Freddie's white shorts is pretty tame compared to other things Freddie wore. I don't get the shock horror that caused sweetcaroline, nor his bare feet. It goes beyond not liking the white shorts, it's as if sweetcaroline is offended or insulted by by it. I can say this with no doubt in my mind, if AL ever wore what Freddie did, sweetcaroline would be saying how sexy, gorgeous, etc AL would be. For some reason when Freddie did it, bothers her. Same as when she saw the clip of Freddie on Superman's shoulders...her exact reaction was " OMG that was awful!!!' That's Pearl clutching to the extreme.

I don't think the OP understands the qualifications for consideration. That's not Lambert bashing. It's common sense. There was no new song in the film. So no performance...now for best score....a very unlikely inclusion as well. Not die its considered as much and none of the original cues are worth mentioning. Hell...I'm not even sure there were any. I'll go listen back to it today

What is on the soundtrack wasn't written with the movie in mind. So it won't be eligible for any music awards. No chance of Q+AL performing at the Oscars, sorry.

That is not the point, you are just glad that Adam wouldn't have the chance. You couldn't see why he would be at one of the biopic opening nights, but it was OK for everyone else including the media who had zip to do with anything. Why should he be on a TV show or he has nothing to do with the Kennedy Center show. That is the way you are about anything that he might get to do. Maybe you haven't noticed, but it is a pattern. He has worked for years at his craft and it is always nice to get a little recognition, a pat on the back, but you begrudge him everything as it might take something away from Freddie. What I am and have been posting here is in no way meant as an insult to AL, but look at you taking it that way. My God, you are so overly defensive about the guy, that you are willing to pick fights with me over anythng and things I don't even post about. I said nothing about if I wanted him to appear or not, that has nothing to do with what I'm stating here. Fact of the matter is, since there is no original music specifically writtien for this movie, the music will not even be nominated, so there is very little chance of Q+AL performing, in my opinion. That's basically it. It really should be obvious, but apparently it's not. Mind boggling I even have to point any of this out.
