The be all and end all is that Lamebird is an annoying talentless wanker who has the luck that two ex legends are willing to destroy their legacy with him

movie made almost 600M worldwide.... and it had to do with music. pretty good chance Q+AL will be asked to perform - IF... it get's a nomination or two. without a nomination it would be less likely but still very possible

I will hold my hands up if I'm wrong, but I can't see Q+AL performing. Mainly because the music wasn't written for the biopic, so the music isn't eligible to win Best Song.
Honestly, I think GaGa and Cooper have a very good chance of performing music from ASIB at the Oscars.
If this was the MTV music/movie awards, there is more of a chance for Q+AL performing at that event.

haven't watched the oscars in years - but you are probably right - yes, i agree, they should not be nominated for best song - i didn't realize that only those that are nominated for best song are the ones performed. To help prove your point, I looked up Oscar performances in 2005 and there none from the movie Ray. So there you have it.

Rami and the movie have already been nominated for the Golden Globes so there is a very good chance they will also be nominated for an Academy Award.

That doesn't always happen though.

It's not a rule that only songs that are nominated for Best Song end up being performed. Sweetcaroline posted above GaGa sang music from TSOF to mark it's anniversary. She did a wonderful job doing it.

The music s ineligible to be nominated, so again I really can't see Q+AL perform. I'm sure if the film and actors end up nominated, Brian and Roger could attend the ceremony. Performing...nope, I can't see it. Not even Brian and Roger performing by themselves I can't see.
Disclaimer... I promise I'm not bashing, being negative, a hater to AL ;-).

As for a short medley...IMO that's not likely either. How could it be narrowed down and choose which songs to sing, even if they did perform? A five, ten minute medley? No, not enough time for that either. Speeches nearly get cut off, at times, so unlikely there would be enough time for a Queen medley.

Reminder: Adam performed at the Kennedy Center Honors when it was not believed he would, so anything is possible.

You don't need to remind me of that. I was wrong about that, and FYI I admitted that I was wrong. So don't throw that in my face.
Yes anything is possible, but not very likely Q+AL will perform, in my opinion. Simply because the music from the film is not eligible for any music awards at the Oscars, so it's unlikely Q+AL will end up performing. If I'm wrong, so be it, and yes, I will admit if I'm wrong.
I don't think you understood right away that the music in the film wasn't eligible to win Oscar's.

Read my original post and the article I posted. It was never about them receiving an Oscar for their music. I am not dumb.

I read it. Why would you want Q+AL to perform if the music in the film can't be nominated?
Artists just don't perform at the Oscars on a whim.
Need I remind you how you felt GaGa doing TSOM tribute?
You just want Q+AL to perform. So AL could get the attention/press.

If Q+AL ended up performing at the Oscars would you feel that AL's tattoos would be a distraction for you, just wondering? This is what you said about GaGa when she performed.

Feel free to say I'm stalking you again...that's what you do when you can't own what you post.

Here it is...
Of course you will likely give one or more of these types of reply
Say I'm stalking you again to deflect
Ignore what I ask you
Call me an asshole, negative, hater to deflect
Have snifflese come by to have a go at me to deflect
Or give some sort of comment what GaGa did and how GaGa looked during her performance would hypothetically be different than how AL would look and do at the Oscars.

Then again, I know you don't like GaGa very much in the first place. You griped on QOL about her that she didn't tweet AL back, her Bowie Tribute, her Superbowl appearance, yeah you are no fan of hers to say the least. Quite ironic that you brought her up earlier in this thread. But you think she sang at the Oscars, so could Q+AL perform there too. I think it's too bad her tattoos distracted you. When I watched her perform her tattoos didn't even cross my mind.
I think it's very likely she and/or Cooper will perform or appear at the Oscars this year. If it happens, I hope her tattoos will not distract you this time ;-).

You ARE stalking when you go digging for posts from 3 years ago.

I still don’t like her tattoos and I still don’t like Adam’s tattoos. Maybe you should go dig those up, too since you have a Sherlock Holmes complex.

Thats not stalking at all.
I just wanted to point out what you said about her, since you brought up GaGa in this thread. I think it's likely she will attend the Oscars this year.
I actually like her tattoos and most of AL's. Another way of expressing oneself. AL had to be tough to get the one on his ribcage..f**k that likely hurt. It's pretty big too.
