To each his own! At least I don't need a hearing aid and possibly glasses, since you apparently can't read or hear very well!

Gaga has awesome songs and I have been a fan for a long time. I think she and Adam would sound great together as they both have strong voices and the same kind of quirkiness if you will. I mentioned the high notes only because they are prevalent in so many of Queen's songs and not being able to hit them in the same way as the original would be distracting to me. I saw those tenors on TV a while ago and mentioned that I found it distracting that they went into falsetto to hit the higher notes and Icy said I was Bigging AL up (her fav phrase!). It just sounds weird after listening to Freddie and Adam. So her voice is not particularly suited quite a few of the songs. They would definitely have to change the key and it would sound different, which I wouldn't care for. That was why I mentioned it. I was speaking specifically of Gaga singing Queen songs. Otherwise she has a wonderful rich voice. Love her![/QUOTE]
I am surprised n a way they haven't worked together yet. Of course GaGa joined Brian, Roger and AL for a version of ABTD which I liked.

I thought that was an absolute mess and clearly hadn't been rehearsed much! I actually was extremely surprised at how bad it was and it just made me cringe.

I got a kick out of it. I will say this, it wasn't the best, but how I look at it, especially compared to AL singing with other females, this one was 'fun'.

Normally his duets are pretty decent, it was just that one recently with Melissa Etheridge that really fell short. I loved the Titanium song from Idol (quite a while ago), loved Girl Crush (maybe my fav) and his recent duet on the Wicked Special was very nice. I think the Etheridge one as was just kind of winging it and that doesn't usually work. His voice really meshed nicely with Leona Lewis as she has a nice strong voice.

I had high hopes for the Melissa duet, because I adore her. I'm not do sure if it was the right song choice in the first place, and it really was obvious that rehearsals weren't done very much.
It could have been...and should have been so much better.

AL isn't even attending the Oscars according to his Twitter.

Still hoping for a “surprise” appearance of QAL at the Oscars. Adam has been in London so maybe they are planning the Rhapsody Tour and rehearsing for the Oscars? This would be the only time to do it with the movie being nominated and the U.S. tour coming this summer.

Isn't what Brian May had to say a few days ago, not good enough? Nothing indicates that Brian and Roger will play, let alone Q+AL.
AL has said he won't be attending the Oscars. So why are you hoping so much?
Yes, Brian, Roger and AL are planning the tour it seems, but I think there is little chance for them to perform at the Oscars.

People can always hope! Nothing wrong with that. I don't believe it will happen, but sometimes there are surprises and changes, so who knows? This would be the perfect year since the movie did so well! If not, there is always the Elvis Special coming up. That ought t be really fun as I was a huge Elvis fan. My first two records were by Elvis back in the day!! I had all his music and saw every one of those schmaltzy movies!!! Now I cringe!!

You still hope that Lamebird is a great singer and Performer and will stop performing like the sounding goat he is now. So I agree one can hope. In case of Lameturd it is useless though
