Fantastic! Just great! What if it "breaks" a billion Dollars? Will the Oscars-Statues then be re-modeled to have them look like "the one and only Adam Lambert"?

I've checked and found out that Bohemian Rhapsody is the best selling film of 2018 not to be a sequel or part of a franchise. It could increase this margin by quite a bit in the upcoming weeks. So it could make a billion dollars in the box office but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Don't get me wrong, I would love for it to happen but seeing now it's almost available on DVD, Blu-ray and digital downloads it seems unlikely.

Unbelievable how much money is being made with a movie. I fear that many more bands will follow Queen's lead. Since most of them don't make much money from record sales anymore, they're probably quite happy to produce a so called "bio-pic". Sting vs Andy and Stewart in "Don't Stand So Close To Me", Gilmour vs Waters in "Us & Them“ and so forth.

The question remains: What are Jim Beach, May and Taylor doing with all their money? Can people never have a sense of enough is enough?

Lots of PR about Adam’s 5 second cameo:

And you are the one PR'ing about here. Who would have expected that to happen. I'm not surprised.
That five second clip...not the most important or powerful moment in the film.
AL had nothing to do with the biopic's success.

I just hope they are smart with their money. And that they donate some of that money to the MPT and other causes.

So who was the regular on here, who, 3 or 4 years ago , stated ; 'Mark my words, this movie will never see the light of day ' !
Come on, own up, take it on the chin. I regularly drop clangers too.

I can't wait for it to sail past a billion,I remember savage reviews for the band's albums and not much has changed. As Freddie said, the only thing that matters is the public.

I doubt it will manage a billion. Especially because its not been in theaters in China, and because it wont be screened much longer.
Basically blind em and deaf em in the first 10 minutes, and while they are recovering from that put in the less good songs

@ Iron Butterfly: Whatever they do with their money, it will not help any over the growing number of homeless people in their home country. Since the sing-a-long-version of the movie will be shown in cinemas, chances, that they break the billion-Dollar-mark are not really slim.

There is another award show tonight at 7:00 EST on the CW channel—Critics Choice Awards. The movie is not nominated but Rami is; also costumes and make-up.

EMI2565, excuse me, but the current front man of Queen is not a “sad tranny.” Anything but!
