Dont encourage her she is raged enough to do so![/QUOTE]

Thing is, she doesn't need any encouragement to do it. Like I always say, she will fit AL in anywhere possible. She did it for years elsewhere.

So the Queen/Freddie biopic is a huge success! Why are you so-called fans so shocked and not thrilled about it?

It’s all about their spectacular music! The show must go on!

Why? It is Brian revisionist history at its worst.

Although I have refused to see this mediocre movie, I still have negative opinions based on the intentional false portrayals in the movie that I have seen and heard:

* The portrayal of Freddie breaking up the band for several years because of his solo album.

* The portrayal of the other three band members as saints who went home to their families.

* The stereotypical depiction of the gay lifestyle as epitomized by Paul Prenter.

* The insinuation that Freddie would have been better off denying his sexual identity and marrying Saint Mary.

* The portrayal of John Deacon as a loser.

What will you do now? Throw around so called Queen fans from now on because most Queen fans know what was wrong in the film?
You go on about so called Queen fans, when you are only posting in here to squeeze AL in your posts in this sub forum.

I’ve seen the movie twice. How many times did you see it? It doesn’t matter that it isn’t perfect. It is still an emotional tribute to Freddie but the people in these forums are miserable and unhappy and just want to complain, criticize and fight.

Yep, I actually did see it.
You saw it twice, was that because of Lambert being in it? Bet it is.
Yes, it actually does matter that it's not perfect. I don't expect perfection, but this movie had a few things wrong... thatat does matter.
The people in these forums are miserable, unhappy, and just want to complain criticise and fight you say? Do you know much about any of the posters in here, doubt it since you only started to post in here because you are trying to spam about Lambert in Queen sections now. Sorry lady, it's obvious you are trying to throw crap at Queen fans you know next to nothing about.

She doesn't care or even notice things like that.
She can't even acknowledge your post.

Compared to Freddie they were.

* The stereotypical depiction of the gay lifestyle as epitomized by Paul Prenter.
a depiction which is true

* The insinuation that Freddie would have been better off denying his sexual identity and marrying Saint Mary.
this so called insinuation is not certain in the movie but "would have been better.." as in he would not die of AIDS, is valid.

I saw the movie twice — once by myself at a local theater and again with my son at a newer movie complex with better sound. Sometimes you see things you missed the first time if you see it again. The first time I wasn’t sure I liked Rami in the role of Freddie. He is so unique and difficult to portray. I am convinced Rami fit the role better than SBC or Ben Whishaw would have!

Funny that is all you have to say about the movie...after Rami and the film won two major awards.
I don't think you knew or still know what was wrong in the film.

Sweetcaroline You watched the film again just to make sure you never missed Adam dressed up as a man? lol
Quite a novelty then !

I knew the timing was off in that film because Freddie did not know about his illness at the time of Live Aid.

Stop listening to nasty icy and all of her crap about Adam. I was a fan of Queen long before she was. She never knew who Freddie was until he died.

That's not the only thing that was off timing wise. Good grief.
Why do you hold it against me that I wasn't a fan until after Freddie died? Is that wrong in your books, or another black mark you will use again me, obviously it is. How petty are you?
Do you think I'm the only one who became a fan in early 1992? I'm not. There are countless people who became Queen fans at the time. You are the only one in tens of thousands of music fans that i have interacted with that has ever used that I became a Freddie/Queen fan against me.
I think you want me to look at AL as the new Mercury or something since I wasn't a fan until after Freddie passed away. I will never look at AL as the next Freddie, Elvis, Bowie, that's the way you think. There was one Queen singer for me, that was and always will be Freddie.
At least I can say I've been a Freddie and Queen fan since 1992, nor am I embarrassed by that, but I honestly I do regret it. I wish I was a fan earlier, I'm sorry I wasn't a fan before, is good enough once and for all? Can't believe that you are trying to score points about that I wasn't a fan until after Freddie died.
I can't even say you are a fan of Freddie's and or Queen's, you are nothing but a nasty, promoter, spammer of all things to do with AL. You use Queen boards to promote, big up AL. That's basically why you are posting in this section now.

Maybe she blinked, sneezed, coughed, whatever the first time and missed his spot, so went to see it again.
Gotta make sure AL makes the $$ even for a five second cameo Lol ;-)
