If I were picking the host I'd have Robert Downey Jr.

I would never troll in the Serious forum!

So it seems we all agree that Adam could save the Oscars. Think of the costume changes!

What you and sweetcaroline agree he could save the Oscar's? Oh the magical power of AL, could he share that with me please xD.
Costume changes, years that doesn't make a good host for the Oscar's. Sorry, more goes into than that. I can see sweetcaroline freaking out if Rami won one of those onesies or even shorts. Of course, it would be ok if AL wore it ;-).

What he did on the AMAs all those years ago wasn't appropriate for the time and place. Others saying the kiss with his bandmate was wrong, just not the right time or place to do it.[/QUOTE]

Wasn't the best decision he ever made but he's long moved on from that thankfully.

You know what. I absolutely agree he has moved on from that. Good for him.
But I do think hosting a music show, or music awards show will suit him better than hosting a movie awards show.

I agree, I checked and most of the Oscar hosts are actors and older. I don't really care since I won't be watching anyway but I'd make an exception if RDJ were doing it, definitely my all time fav actor.

They are usually comic actors who host the Oscars like Billy Crystal, Whoopee Goldberg, etc. I’m not crazy about Kevin Hart so don’t mind what happened to him.

Oh Rockchic. Careful of agreeing with me, it could cause sweetcaroline to turn on you.
I watch music award shows often, not so much movie awards, but I am this year because of Bohemian Rhapsody. I'm still shocked it has won what it has already.

After watching the Super Bowl half time show last night, it would be a treat to see Freddie’s extraordinary “Bohemian Rhapsody” performed as the opening for the Oscars this year!
