Well, there is an interview with one of Freddie's closest friends in NY saying, he would have only a sexual relationship with a man with a moustache...hahaha.
I mean, for me is a gay cover. I respect your opinion, as you respect my opinion.
The album would be called Made in heaven....Mack told me Freddie changed the name because Mr. Bad Guy would sell more than Made in Heaven. Marketing.

Yeah I heard about that change. Quite frankly I'm glad they changed it cause otherwise the 1995 album would probably have been titled Heaven For Everyone and Made in Heaven is just perfect.

Well, Made in heaven should be an ep, with three songs....You Don't fool me, A Winter's tale and Mother Love.

Matter of taste and probably wouldn't have sold as well. I like the whole album and admire the work that was put into it. But I get what you mean.

In case people are having difficulty making out the tracklisting on the compilation disc, these are the tracks:

The Great Pretender
I Was Born to Love You
Barcelona
In My Defense
Love Kills
How Can I Go On
Love Me Like There's No Tomorrow
Living on My Own
The Golden Boy
Time Waits for No One
She Blows Hot and Cold
Made in Heaven

So, 8 of those 12 tracks will also be available on the Mr. Bad Guy and Barcelona CDs in the same box set?

Here's some more details about what else is included:
"This Limited Edition Freddie Mercury solo career hard slipcase box set includes 3CDs, DVD/Blu-ray, 120-page hardback book featuring rare photos of Freddie + quotes, Poster + Postcard."

Looking at the picture on Amazon, it looks like the Barcelona CD has "Barcelona [something] edition" on it (you can see parts of the words through the hole of the Never Boring disc. My guess is that it's the "special edition" which is what that orchestral release from a few years ago is called.

The orchestral edition is worse than the original by far....Mike Moran deserves a lot of respect.

So funny. My wife and I talked about Freddie saying don't make me boring. And now this thread.

The thing is that Miami Beach, Maggie May and Liz Taylor have made Freddie extremely boring....

Perhaps there are extended versions of tracks on the third disc - there wouldn't be duplicate tracks.

Looks like the compilation disc will be sold "stand-alone", at least that's my interpretation from what I can see at German Amazon site:

Totally agree with this.

I wonder which of the several versions of She Blows Hot and Cold will be included? One of the edits with Brian on, or one with Paul Vincent doing a replication/impersonation of him?

It will surely be the wellknown version - the less work for QP the better

lol@Maggie May and Liz Taylor. Yup the definition of boredom. Queen productions should bow down their head in shame. Why do they even employ an archivist? What is his job apart from watching old recordings collect dust?

You will soon find out what I mean[/QUOTE]

-----------------------------------

If they found the outtakes and rushes from the videos they could make some "new" videos just like the "new" Barcelona and time waits for no one video and upscale it to HD.

I also believe there were a couple of mastertapes found from the Barcelona sessions a couple of years back with some demo's that were played at the convention. They can add those tracks too.

They all are the same take of this song. Same guitarist, same guitar.

Solo Collection Rarities 1 features new mix of the same recording which was released as the b-side.

All this 'replication' story is an asumption or maybe even a speculation.
