Cannot hear a lot of sound differences tbh

I enjoyed the 4k quality! Mix is pretty good, nothing drastically different, which I like....I do like the clarity and the warmth/heaviness to the low end (primarily on the synths, bass, kick), that's right away noticeable for me.

The difference on LMLTNT was more obvious. Listening to it thru a pc speaker only you hear nada

BTW who were the recognisable people? For example, the blonde other than Jo Dare in the "falling about" clips?[/QUOTE]

Besides Brian, I can see Jim Beach, Jim Hutton, Paul Prenter...

and indeed, nice new mix !!

No sight of o'l Roger or John, one thing you don't see rock star parties like that anymore.

Reissuing the same thing every few years doesn't really make sense. Take some direction from The Beatles, Rush, Metallica and Prince if you're wanting longtime fans and collectors to help enhance your bank accounts. Give us something worth collecting.

If you would release this as high resolution audio on Blu-ray (with stereo and 5.1 mixes) then we would REALLY have something special.

I'd rather have more live material as they were so much better live than on record. Surely they would have loads of live material to offer?

Some quotes from a thread about the new Police boxset sound familiar.

Diane Mosely you mean?

Also Samantha Fox, Brian's wife Chrissie, Jim Beach, David Wigg, Peter Straker, Phoebe etc.

Maybe Thor and Lee could share some more names if they were there.

Having a listen to this now.

I really don't know these tracks well enough to judge.

It really sounds like they tried to mix the 80's out of the album, and so far I don't mind that :)

Drums could be a little stronger on the title track.

^ Yes, that's true. Overall excellent work on Mr Bad Guy remix! A lot of acoustic drums. That's really nice.

Agreed, very glad they didn't print the raw drum audio signals to tape through the trigger pads first!
Looking forward to hearing and comparing the similar remix job on Pink Floyd's "A Momentary Lapse Of Reason" album when it comes out next month. I'm expecting that one's going to be even more drastic in difference, and that album sounded way more 80's than "Mr. Bad Guy" did.
