There are Queen songs I dislike more than MOTP. I will never understand why some people take the right to judge other peoples taste!
Well This is human nature.
There is only one album in Queen's discography that I listen to less than the rest of Queen's albums.

I had a pirate cassette with the The Works album, and given the small print, I thought “L” is “!” and thought for a long time that the song is called Man On the Prow.Funny, isn't it?

Am I the only one here who actually likes MOTP?
yes as you are completely lacking taste. You like Lamebird as well that should tell you something. And now let the grownups discuss,
I doubt that I am the only one who likes them. Grown ups? Really? I am 37. Insulting me again. Thanks Ruiner. God, do you ever stop? Trolling again as usual.

You have made this place a joke. How Richard or a Moderator haven't banned you yet is a complete mystery. You've made so many enemies here.
Man on the Prowl would have been a shit single for Queen, but I'm sure Shakin Stevens would have turned it into a hit at the time, had Freddie the wisdom to dispose of it to him.

True, that was his speciality, of course! But yeah, I think it would have fitted him like a glove.

I sometimes get in the mood for MOTP but it does indeed suffer from not being CLTCL.

I love it more than Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Just because Freddie wrote in that vintage style, it doesn’t mean Freddie was copying Crazy Little Thing Called Love, so I don’t get what the problem with people is.

MOTP is OK, but not to release as a single.

KPTOW has more hitpotential to me, even though I think that is the weakest song on the album. but this song sounds more like what people like to hear.
I think I'll be Clint Eastwood Jimi Hendrix he was good Let's try William the Conqueror Now who else do I like?

Eh...I like it well enough but The Works was the beginning of Freddie seeming to lose his touch as a "hit-maker". He seemed spent as a creative force and also this was the first album where his voice sounded markedly deteriorated. Low...rough...lacking the clarity of the past. It's the same with It's a Hard Life which many compare to Play the Game. I much prefer Play the Game just for Freddie's more youthful voice and delivery alone...plus it sounds more lushly produced and yet it is 4 years older which reminds me of something else...

The production values on MOTP, Tear It Up, It's a Hard Life aren't exactly "radio-ready"...almost sound like demos it's markedly plain after the lush, almost perfect production of the Album opener Radio Ga Ga.
