At least here we are free to talk about sexual orientation and a few other subjects we aren’t there.

Have you seriously just posted FIVE posts in a row? What's the point in spamming like that, isn't it better to write everything in one post? I can now understand why the moderators often have such a difficult job :-)

Mr. Scully sorry about that but I was wondering if someone would be able to take it over if someone paid the bill every month. Do you know anyone that would be willing to do that?just read your previous post you don’t feel it’s worth keeping open I understand your point.

It's better being here than being at queen chat boards.net where they give you a slap when you say anything bad.

I have been over at Queen chat for a while and found nothing interesting at all. You are regulated on what you can talk about. I have lots of friends they just aren’t make believe through social media they are outside social media I just come here to be nosey and see how the other half socialize lol. It’s all good

Richard...what was your opinion/reaction of Thor Arnold posting on this board? Did you consider it an honor?

I think if I was hosting a site that had someone from Freddie's circle participating I would crap my pants!

Hey Richard,

First of all, thanks for all your hard work over all these years. I've learned a lot on this forum and made some good friends here :)

As many people seem interested in saving the conversations, wouldn't it be feasible to post a raw dump of the database on Github? It's free and the people who would know what to do with it are probably comfortable with that site.

I've made a crawler to save every post and export it in json, but I'm afraid of using it and bringing the server down with so many requests per minute over the course of a few days. :x

Thank you Richard; I had joined a couple of years ago, though I was a 'lurker' prior to that - I enjoyed the unique commentary, especially with regard to older threads where the people here kept it interesting and fun. I too admit that current Queen isn't my thing, but luckily that's where YT comes in when I need a fix, lol. Best of luck to you and thanks again for keeping this site going long enough for someone like me to stumble across it!

The Database is about 3GB in size.

First post in the DB is listed as 5 July 2003. There are 1,164,802 individual posts (replies + topic starters).

I will put the code and backup of the DB on github - so, if some people are interested they can play around with it. Code is a bit embarrassing.... Wrote it a long time ago, finding my way as i went along....

I will try and archive/hardcopy the forum topics. i have had some success with a system to do that sort of thing. Will see how that goes - no promises though.
