Now that I have your attention... This is merely a mundane question about the Crossroads Guitar Festival.

Does anyone know which day(s) Brian is playing? There doesn't appear to be any specific information on Queenworld or BrianMay.com, and I thought someone on here might have heard.

Saying Jesus was gay is like saying Tinky Winky/Thomas the Tank Engine/Bert and Ernie were gay - just silly stuff that nobody can prove but yet upsets people anyway.
Anyway, I heard that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene...(who btw wasn't a prostitute but a priestess. Magdalene is a title of leadership but she was reworked to be a prostitute in subsequent chauvenistic eras)

I think its better to prove if he actually existed than to speculate on his sexuality.

If you don't believe it's true, then it shouldn't offend you, period! Most sane people don't take everything so literally. If you believe something in your heart, then some ridiculous comment on a noticeboard shouldn't get in the way of that. If your church or faith teaches you to be strong, then keep doing it, and don't let crap like this get to you.

But again, the question will always remain, do you believe it because you want to believe it, or do you believe it because your church told you it's a good idea?

But anyhoo, I guess I accomplished what I set out to do... rattle up a few people, and then teach this little lesson, but only to those who want to hear it, of course. Many won't see the lesson until the afternoon because they're busy at mass, being told they're unworthy and that they have their week's worth of sin to clense from their unclean souls.

It doesn't need proving. There are books full of sayings and parables of the historical Jesus... which are quite different than the Jesus that the bible wants us to know. The "god made flesh" Jesus that Christianity has told us all about is quite different than the historical Jesus, the teacher who was just a regular ordinary guy.
