Jonny Depp would be cool. But playing Bri, Rog and John I'd like to see actual musicians - kinda like how they got actual boxers to play Joe Frasier and Sonny liston etc in the Ali movie. Like Taylor Hawkins of the Foo's playing Rog etc.

Although, I was thinking, has anyone seen the Tupac film ''Tupac Ressurection''? It's a very clever film and basically starts of with an overhead shot of Las Vegas where Tupac was shot dead. Then moves to his childhoos, and his early rap days, his famous years up until Las Vegas again - and then nowadays. But the whole thing is narrated by him. As many interviews as possible were found and used to narrate each part of his life, and it worked very well. In some instances it was very spooky how definite some of his predictions and what have you were. But how about this as an idea for a Queen film? Maybe Queen productions could pull their fingers out and give a film company as much footage and audio as they want, and make a similar effort? Perhaps with the band narrating it? Could work, might be interesting, and is a different angle.

Just so long as DoRo have nothing to do with it...

Bennett from Commando...needs to lose a few pounds, but tell me that the director wasn't going for a certain "look"...

"Not a fan of the ladies, are you Trebek?" Sean Connery

Oh yeah, that`s really a must that DoRo has nothing to do with the whole thing. When I was younger I honestly liked their style of presenting
but grewing older I realized so much mistakes they
did with their productions. Espicially the champions of the world video is full with it.
But I think thats another topic...

cheers

Hi everyone!!! :)
Let me speak my mind...Firstly,we have to take several actors to play Freddie for specific periods of his life.Secondly,I don't think we need famous actors to play Freddie...The impotrant thing for the actor is to look like Freddie and to be damned good on what he's doing,to be one with his role.
Now,what about the 1970-1978 period???Any ideas???
It's a long hard struggle But you can always depend on me And if you're ever in trouble You know where I will be

Several actors?

Two at the most is the 'Hollywood Norm'.

One as a kid in his school days and one as an adult using make up to age him at various stages.

When I say several I mean two or three, but your idea
-one as an adult using make up to age him at various stages-would be great :)

Skeet Ulrich would be good. He's kind of an underrated Johnny Depp, (they even look alot alike) but I find him to have more range as an actor.
