They're a fun party game, I'll admit that much. It's pretty far removed from the real thing of course, but from a rhythmic perspective it can actually serve as a sort of workout.

I'm not sure if you're talking to me, probably not because I'm not a "young wannabe boy" nor a "little boy" or a person "who need(s) a lesson about what real thrasth metal is about" and I don't think that "metallica are still cool", but I feel like answering ;)
If you seriously think that Metallica sucks, did you actually hear the last album ? It's the best thing they've done since Justice. Actually sounds like "...And Justice For All vol. 2".
Every Metallica album is fantastic, about how many bands (excluding Queen and The Beatles) can we say that ? Every Metallica album is different, but still great. The first Metallica album is slightly worse, but Lightning, Puppets and Justice are albums which should be heard by every person on this planet at least once in his life :-)

I love Kill Em All! It's my second favorite Metallica album. Ride The Lightning is the best IMO
Master of Puppets is very overrated in my opinion. It is a very boring album. I dose off every time I listen to it. The first two tracks are great, but after that......
As for Load and Reload: They're alright. A few good songs but overall not that great. There are some good tracks like King Nothing, Low Man's Lyric, and Prince Charming.
St. Anger, in a word, is trash (again, just my opinion) Annoying trash can drums XPXPXPXP
I don't listen to AJFA much but the Black album is also a pretty solid album. After the Black album it went downhill
Death Magnetic gets better and better every time I listen to it, but James' voice has gotten worse than it ever has.
As for Megadeth, I love all their albums :)

every metallica album is great?....that's the funniest thing I ever heard. Death magnetic is better than st. anger, but still sounds like a bloody mess. As for st. anger, that's the worst album I ever heard by a MaJor band. Worse than anything I ever heard, and if you think st. anger is good than that proves that you know nothing about real thrash. Look at the amazon reviews for that album. The Load albums are average at best, but at least they were trying something different.

yes, megadeth is better, and kill em all is light years better than those load albums and st. anger. Metallica did go downhill after the first 5 albums, I'll even say after the first 3 they went down hill. I was a huge metallica fan back in the day and bought master of puppets on it's first day of release, so let's not go there. Metallica has sucked since ciff burton died. How can you mention metallica and the beatles in the same sentence?...that's sad.
