Another let down, as I expected.

Well, it saves me 100 euro's :-)

Come on Wilki, you can't defend this rubbish.

25 bonus tracks, and only one (Leroy Brown acapella) is remotely interesting. I knew we shouldn't have got our hopes up, but this really exceeds everything...
Even me, with my low excpectations thought we would get Hammersmith 75, 79 and some BBC sessions, and that'd be it. But no, they have the bloody guts to put a couple of tracks from Wembley and Live Killers. On a 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition where they are making a lot of fuzz about. This is so disrespecful to fans.

And then the monstrosity of 'The crap even WE know can't be called Greatest Hits, but we're going to fuck you in your wallets anyway". That's probably why they call it Deep Cuts. I want to cut my wrists really deep after hearing this news.

They had this one chance of actually doing an interesting release and they fucked it up...

I really can't believe it. They did it again!

Queen Productions: you are a cunt.

The reason Wilki's initial announcement  was taken down is because this was not the exact tracklisting for the CDs.
The correct tracklisting will be announced soon.

Where is the guarantee that Universal Music will fulfill promisses in terms of bonus material and we wil not  see that track list what is given author of this theme?

So they will not re-release the LIVE albums but use tracks from those as bonus tracks?

I was a fool to believe when they changed record company that they would really change!!!!!

Maybe it is time to treasure what we have and not hope for new things to be released?

Who wants to bet that the 3 remotely interesting tracks (Seven Seas of Rhye instrumental, BoRhap Opera Section and Leroy Brown a capella) get replaced with BoRhap live at Wembley, a live version of Killer Queen and SSOR (also at Wembley). Fucking pathetic. I did not expect to have a disc full of unreleased gems - but I was at least hoping for a full remastered and remixed BBC set + Hammersmith/Rainbow shows.

Now let's wait for Brian to make an 'exciting announcement' on his frigging Soapbox about 'extremely rare performances', 'previously thought to be lost outtakes' and 'recently discovered gems'. Oh no wait. Brian doesn't blog about Queen, only about shit which no-one cares about. Except the people who think No Turning Back by The Immortals is a classic record and have every Anita Dobson record in their collection because Brian produced it.

Oh, and I wonder when the 25th anniversary edition of Wembley will be announced. This time with as a bonus the original 1986 tv-broadcast "Real Magic" and an exclusive interview with Gerry Stickells.

Actually I think the inclusion of BBC/Hammersmith is actually indicative that they WILL release them.  remember the deluxe editions are available for 1 year only.  THEN they'll release the BBC sessions and Hammersmith.  They are using the bonus tracks as teasers for that release I would bet.

I really start to believe we will get no interesting stuff at all until all of the surviving members are dead, or put away in a house for the elderly. I can't believe the people at Universal agree with this crap, seeing as they have released such cool releases by acts like The Who, Love, Joy Division, The Velvet Underground - each with an extra disc filled with extra's. I'm not saying those discs included 100% previously unheard of material - but at least you got your money's worth. Daring to ask 33 euros for a 40-year old album with 5 totally random selected bonustracks thrown on as an afterthought is just ugly.

I'm starting to think that I'll be dead before they release any of the stuff we really want to hear!  :(
