The "In The Court..." 40th anniversary edition you're talking about is the NORMAL edition. The deluxe edition (which I have) has 4 or 5 cd's filled with live material, 5.1 mixes, BBC appearances, outtakes and other awesome stuff. Plus a DVD with everything in hi-res audio/5.1 mix and some video material. Throw in a replica record sleeve, some merchandise and a well-written 12" booklet and sell the whole thing for 50 euros or something. That's what deluxe editions should be.

yeah, I didnt want to waste space on the board listing that issue, since it's so lavish. but I mentioned that I bought that boxed set :) damn, thinking of this makes me even more irritated that we're so ****** being queen fans. haha... oh well.

You people are sad and comical. I have said for a number of YEARS now what will more than likely will happen, how, and when. I was dismissed entirely to no end. As informed as some of you all are you all are still uninformed of what will probably happen....

Yeah I now see that I clicked the reply button a bit too early. The 40th anniversary KC remasters are how I had hoped Queen would release theirs. In deluxe digipacks, with high quality liner notes, bonusmaterial and 'new' material.

Someone wants to ask Brian or Roger if they recorded any covers such as Led Zep's Immigrant Song etc with Freddie on vocals on any of the early stuff especially as Led Zep were an influence on Queen. Or even quality complete version of Jailhouse of Rock. As many posters have mentioned previously the rare stuff would generate considerable interest. A version of Long Away with Freddie on lead vocals would have been amazing don't y'all think? No offence too Brian or Roger.

The only wish related to Queen I still keep is seeing John Deacon saying "hello guys" up somewhere.
Since 'No One but You' maybe, Queen just brings us disappointment. I stick with the past.

Universal JP's website is changed now. It says the tracks of Disc 2 of each albums are not yet determined. Sorry in advance if this is widely known.

Who cares.... I'm not going to buy the albums anyway. I already have all the LPs and CDs.
Sooner or later the bonus content will be available for free in FLAC on a FTD / torrent site. I will download the tracks I don't already have via FTD wich, at the moment still, is perfectly legal in my country.
Queen has had there day in the sun. The only reason they are commercially active this day and age is to pay for the retirement of there children and grandchildren. I'm not going to finance that.

Anybody in UMJ here??
If they're watching this post, we should tell them our opinion.

I just want a version that actually sounds good, on vinyl and cd.
QP can make money by not giving me the booklets or the jackets, I have them 15,000 times anyway from all the shit I've purchased in the hope they had done something decent.
They could even charge me $50 for the disc in a plain jewel case, if it sounds good, I'll pay for it. Why is everyone so obsessed with wanting extra's, how about we get the original studio tracks in decent quality first?

This is absolutely fucking hilarious.
Why are people so upset by what was originally posted as being the tracklists for the first tranche of releases? Did anyone REALLY believe that we would be thrilled, excited and privileged by these re-issues?
We will be getting what we've always been given as Queen fans and that's a royal fucking in the pockets by Jim (I Wanna Be Alan Sugar) Beach and the rest of his monkeys at QPL.
Better, surely, to rely on the generosity of the fan base here at QZ and take what has been made available to download and then simply compile your very own Deluxe editions of Queen albums; its very easy to do and doesn't provide the QPL vultures access to your hard-earned.

Benn, love it, solid gold!

Well said Benn. It;s the same old thing re-issued again and again. Why not just make the new tracks available for download?
