Today in our Queen meeting, it felt like we are gearing up like 35 year-olds, so I will be focussing on getting fit in the next few months. There will be exciting news about WWRY in the coming months too –in fact I can hardly contain myslelf ! As soon as I know stuff like this for sure, I will be tweeting … ha ha … never thought I’d be saying this !! We discussed new plans for Freddie for a Day and the Mercury Phoenix Trust this year … and our forthcoming album with at least THREE previouisly unheard tracks with Freddie singing … I didn’t think I’d be saying that either !! Working hard on this material now. So many things … but everything will unfold.

I wonder if these three INCLUDE the Michael Jackson duets?? Or is this completely unknown stuff? Also, if you decided to break such "news", it would also be nice if you could introduce yourself. Thanks.

Three previously unheard of tracks! That's great! Four would be even better of course. In any case, it's been a long time between drinks, so I'm really happy about this!! :-)

As he's not using any quotation marks, he's quite obviously Brian. Welcome, doctor!

The album will contain unusual things from the past and unusual things which no one has heard before.
From the past i guess it will be reworked songs and one of them could be life is real as a duet beween kerry and freddie. What do you think? What other unusual things from past could be possible? Just reworked songs.?

It would be nice to hear Rogers input. Brian is so upbeat about this project, but,as yet,all Roger has had to say on the album is its Brian's project and that there wasn't enough material to work with.

Didn't Brian say Roger was working on a track ? I guess Roger has been up to his ears promoting Fun On Earth.

Actually, Roger said in a recent interview with a Polish magazine Tylko Rock that there is a lot of stuff and some of it is really good. I will try to post a link later.

So (correct me if I'm wrong please...) at the moment we have 3 songs with MJ+FM and 3 more only with Queen (and John's bass is on at least one of them)?

I hope you're right, Raffy.

Here is Roger's take on it from an interview he did with the Toronto (Soaraway) Sun > http://www.torontosun.com/2013/12/15/roger-taylor-talks-new-solo-album-and-upcoming-queen-songs
