Don't get overly excited people. They have 3 songs, not a new album. Not even 6-7 new unreleased songs. Just 3. And the MJ collaboration tracks will be NOT released until his estate will give the permission to. IF they release the songs, they will release them as extra songs on a compilation, NOT on a new studio album. They are NOT working on "Made In Heaven 2", that was confirmed by both Roger and Brian.
Keep up Pittrek. They already HAVE been working on the MJ tracks with William Ortbit.
Of course they have. But according to Roger they don't have the right to release them

I'm wondering if there may be an old Queen track or two with Freddie on lead vocal that originally had Brian or a Roger on, such as '39, Modern Times Rock n Roll, Rock It etc
It's very feasible that they have a few of those tracks with at least a rough Freddie vocal on as I think it's common knowledge that a lot of the time they would try both ways and vote on whose sounded right/better.

Yes, but Roger and Brian are just being secretive about it all. It doesn´t make sense for them to be working on songs, and tweets happening as late as this week, if they didn´t know for sure that they will have permission. I remember Roger stating that he didn´t knew the actor who would be playing Freddie in the new Bio, and then he was "caught" and admited it that he already knew.
I respect your point of view, but for me, i´m going to allow myself to be excited about these news, and indeed at least 6 new songs with Freddie on it. I´m gonna stay positive and i even dare to say that the three new Queen songs with Freddie is none that was release before in any form. Brian is clear about this when he says:
"...and our forthcoming album with at least THREE previously unheard tracks with Freddie singing … I didn’t think I’d be saying that either ."
Unheard tracks means that "Man made paradise" doesn´t fit in these songs which is great, because it means that six or seven tracks are originals, and then there´s room for "Man made paradise" and who knows maybe a track or two by Brian and Roger like in the good ol´70´s.
And on a last note, there will be an album. Brian is very clear about this too.
And i´m also very excited about the news of what appears to be a full tour. Brian and Roger will be back, and i´ll be there. I love these guys!

Naw those quotes debunking a new album are old. Since then they apparently have found more tracks and Brian did say "forthcoming album" and that's the most current statement. I think it would be an obnoxious waste to tack 3 songs on another compilation. All that would do is encourage illegal downloading because these days baiting a collection with a raritity or three doesn't mean one has to buy the whole thing

Today in our Queen meeting, it felt like we are gearing up like 35 year-olds, so I will be focussing on getting fit in the next few months. There will be exciting news about WWRY in the coming months too –in fact I can hardly contain myslelf ! As soon as I know stuff like this for sure, I will be tweeting … ha ha … never thought I’d be saying this !! We discussed new plans for Freddie for a Day and the Mercury Phoenix Trust this year … and our forthcoming album with at least THREE previouisly unheard tracks with Freddie singing … I didn’t think I’d be saying that either !! Working hard on this material now. So many things … but everything will unfold.

The tone of the Doc's post is different (excessively upbeat)than any of his previous ones. He might be taking pain medication or relying on someone else to write his posts.

Great news, best news since made in heaven. I m very happy to hear new unreleased vocals from freddie this year.
Skip the Mj tracks, only add the queen version of there must be to life than this on the forthcoming queenalbum.
A good title of the new album could be Man made paradise or man from paradise.
Good to hear John is participating on this album too.

Just can't see a whole album of unheard stuff, I think the Queen Forever album which was shelved will be what we will get with the 3 unheard tracks, but hey anything new from Queen and a tour, fantastic ! It feels like the good old days are back ! : )

I so understand that will be only four tracks on forthcoming album!

Actually no, the quotes are just a few days old. "Forthcoming album" doesn't mean "forthcoming studio album with new tracks". Unfortunately. Trust me people, I would LOVE to have a new Queen studio album full of brand new unheard tracks, but the chance that it will happen is very close to 0%. However the chances we will get a compilation with 2-3 new tracks are pretty high.

Remember how long it took to complete made in heaven,so if it was a full New album it would take a couple of years at least, Brian is going on tour in February, and possibly Roger, then the Queen tour possibly in the summer,so the time just isn't there to work on more than 3 tracks.

While interesting, I'm not getting my hopes up too much with this project until we find out what exactly will be on it. We're getting nice teasers of what might be on it, but we don't know the exact details. I'm hoping this isn't a desperate attempt to milk Freddie's memory. I'd like to think Brian and Roger wouldn't do that, but you never know.
As far as the MJ tracks, I'm not too excited about those, mainly because we've heard most of them, albeit in demo form. It will be interesting to see what Brian and Roger do with them, but if they don't make the album for legal reasons, I'm ok with that. I'm mainly interested in hearing the Freddie and John tracks.
Having said all of that, I was extremely skeptical of MIH before it was released and I ended up enjoying that album very much. I'm hoping this will be the same result. It's nice to see Queen being active in 2014.

Where are the quotes from a few days old where either states it won't be an album? On the contrary the most recent comments leave open the possibility. Brian said he wasn't sure if it's an album or what it is but there have been no comments debunking an album definitively from either of them in past few months. Correct me if I'm wrong. Roger's no album comments are over a year old and apparently tracks have been "found" recently
