Best
1. Bohemian Rhapsody: Just pure greatness. Nothing more.
2. The Show Must Go On: So amazing,Especially the guitar solos.
3. Somebody To Love: Very pretty and beautiful. I especially like how the song has 2 false endings.
4.Under Pressure: Best of Hot Space, the high note in the middle...Just wow.
5.Bicycle Race:Always a favorite,very catchy,like the bike bell solo.
6.Radio Ga Ga: Just very nice, the synths sound very cool!
7 Your'e My Best Friend: Just very good.
8: I Want To Break Free: Nothing to say.
9.We Will Rock You and We Will Rock You (Fast):Love this, especially the fast version. Live versions good too!.
10:I Want It All:Just so rockin'.
honorable mentions:Fat Bottomed Girls,Killer Queen,No One But You.
Worst
1.Delilah:The lyrics are sweet and so cute(It's about a cat),but this song sucks.
2.Get Down Make Love:Especially the middle.
3.Body Language:just so bad.
4.My Baby Does Me:Crap,Crap,Crap.
5.Staying Power:Just some cheesy disco. It might have worked for the Bee Gees, but they ain't queen.
6.Action This Day:crap, the lyrics in Roger's parts are too quiet.
7.Don't Try Suicide:Even though it's anti-suicide,the melody is utter crapola.
8.I'm In Love With My Car:Hate it.
9:Dancer:More Crap.
10:Back Chat:Crap.

I just popped in to defend My Baby Does Me.

Sorry, I like it.

2. I'm In Love With My Car
3. Back Chat
4. Jesus
6. Teo Torriatte

Just happen to be four of my favourite Queen songs. IILWMC has awful lyrics but has a great rhythm and gnarly guitar. Back Chat has one of Brian;s best solos -- very sharp and tight. Jesus resolves into one of Queen's heaviest instrumental sections. Teo is beautiful from start to finish.

(off-topic)My Baby Does Me is not a filler. Its a "breather" as Freddie quoted it in "Queen for an hour".
It does indeed provide some space to the album. Used to like it. Nowdays it just... passes by.
Guess it didnt age that well.

My top 10, in no particular order:

Father To Son
Innuendo
It's Late
Life is Real
A Winter's Tale
Somebody to Love
Bohemian Rhapsody
The Show Must Go On
Was It All Worth It
My Melancholy Blues

My "worst 10", in no particular order.

Don't Lose Your Head
Gimme The Prize
Pain Is So Close To Pleasure
More of That Jazz
Dancer
Rain Must Fall
Delilah
My Baby Does Me
Cool Cat
Fight From The Inside

However, Don't Lose Your Head is the only song there that I actually dislike. All the others I don't really mind, but I don't think I've ever finished listening to Don't Lose Your Head.
Any way the wind blows...

Genuinely surprised to see these excellent tracks on a shit-list. But again, we've seen people prefer The Works and A Kind Of Magic to Queen II and Sheer Heart Attack. Bizarre. It'd be like saying What Goes On is better than All My Loving.

As for the original question - the best ten Queen tracks are on any Greatest Hits compilation. Anything to the contrary is fan worship borne out of over-listening to the hits.

Killer Queen, BoRhap, Somebody To Love, Rock You, Champions, Don't Stop Me Now, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Under Pressure, and The Show Must Go On are indisputable, plus a wild card of your choice. I'll pick Innuendo.

Of course there are superb album tracks, but it's the hits that made Queen who they are. And, for the record, most of them were written by Mercury.

I saw a list like this before, and The March Of The Black Queen was consistently in the top,but is not a very popular song,Death on 2 legs and The Prophets Song were up there a lot as well. So there ARE some good songs that aren't as popular as their hits.

As brilliant as they are, they still come in second place to the tracks that will endure for centuries.

Well if you want songs that will endure for centuries, that's a different list. Tracks that made people famous are not necessarily the best.

I see what you're saying, but this asked for the "best'. Mind you, best is more or less subjective.
