I guess I should have said older black and older white men and older Hispanic men to be fair. When Adam closed the American Music Awards to introduce his first single, in case you missed it, he kissed his male bass player and shoved a male dancer's face into his crotch. He also had an extremely "gay" first album cover. Hence, many men did not like him strictly because of the fact that he was shoving "flamboyantly gay" in their faces and the homophobic men hated him. (In case you don't also know, there is an extremely large population of older men in the US who are homophobic.) I've talked to many of them.[/QUOTE]

You're right. It ain't that deep. It's as shallow as fuck. What skin colour has to do with the conversation we'd had up until the point you mentioned skin colour I don't know. Hence I'm asking.

And what has homophobia got to do with the conversation we had?

That's right. NOTHING!

OMG. You're thick as a two-by-four. And, researching, isn't Epic just a ripoff orf the Red Hot Chili Peppers? When I watched the video, if I closed my eyes, I would thought that's who it was.

I'm thick because you can't answer the question?

Surely it's not that hard to answer?

What had skin colour got do do with the conversation up until the point you mentioned it?

And homophobia too.

As for Epic. No, that came out in 1989. The Chili Peppers made it mega big with Blood Sugar Sex Magik which came out in 1991. They were around before that, but I doubt FMN copied them.

If you never heard of Faith No More you must be very young, like teenage young. I wasn't a huge fan, though I do like them a bit. They were all over the radio in the 90's and the videos as well. They were huge here in the States for a while. So I believe we're arguing with a 14 year old girl. End the madness!

I love you Mike Hunt! I am 58 going on 14. I just don't listen to rock.

I'm deleting most of my posts because we've turned this thread into the Dew Drop v. Someonewholikesadam thread.

I think you'll find you replied to me first.

And I think you'll find it hard to delete my posts which include your quotes.

I guess attempting to delete all evidence of a poor argument is one way of copping out though, right?

Sure, I don't like Lambert because I'm Homophobic, but my favorite singer is Freddie Mercury. Does that even make sense? Or do you not know Freddie was a gay man? I hope you know that, or else Just leave Queenzone now! Rob Halford is my 2nd favorite singer. I know you never heard of him, he's gay as well. I don't like Lambert because I don't like his voice, not because he's gay, or any other reason.

I guess that's my ending Question. Do you know Freddie Mercury was Gay?

Mike, Mike,Mike,

I never said all who didn't like Adam were either Queen fans or old white men or homophobic. I said that demographic accounted for a large number of people who don't like Adam. Yes, there are people who just don't like his voice. But I don't like lots of singers. I don't resort to calling them talentless because I don't like them. THAT is narrow-minded.
Oscar J., aren't you going to put down your popcorn, get out of your chair and defend me?

I will tell you one thing that is a fact, though. I've never gone on fan sites until Adam Lambert and then Queen when Adam joined them. I have never encountered a nastier, more miserable, rude group of fans than Queen fans. Not all of you but a great many. Adam fans, by and large, are MUCH nicer and more courteous and fun.

I saw SweetCaroline say she was 58 a couple of days ago. But now I can't see that in her comments anywhere.
I'm sure you'll read this when you're done deleting the poorly thought out argument you've been having.

And you're 58 too?

Are you the same person on a different account? I guess you're not going to admit to that whether you are or not. Seems quite the coincidence though.
Did you edit the comment saying you're 58 on the SweetCaroline account too?

Both accounts are Lambert fans.
Both 58.
Both delete evidence.

If you don't listen to Rock, why are you on a Queen forum? Just to promote Lambert?
How often do you play Queen's Sheer Heart Attack album?

Nope. Not the same person! I told you the demographic of most of Adam's fans. Maybe now you'll believe me.

And as far as why am I on a Queen forum? The same thing I said years ago when Adam started singing with Queen. I wanted to see what Queen fans thought of Adam. I had never seen such hate-filled comments in my life! And I've been defending Adam here ever since.

Whatever. I don't really care if you use two accounts. I just think it's odd.

I still don't know why you brought up white skin colour, and homophobia in conversation with me where there was absolutely no need to mention either.

You've still not explained why.
