It's understandable and expected, not to mention natural, that someone's favourite track can easily be someone else's most hated one. That's what's fun about these threads: they'd be so boring if we all liked the same things. That's, also, what's nice about the Queen fandom (fandumb sometimes, admittedly), as there are people who like different genres and styles and the band have, deliberately or coincidentally, catered to many different tastes.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Not everyone! I love this one! In fact I reckon it's the softer songs on AKOM that are the weaker ones, except for WWTLF of course. But GMTP, POTU and this one really rock in my book!

The Miracle - I've tried to like it, but I can't. And it's a bit of a mess at the end.

Yeah, the Miracle is one I always pass.

Oh - that cross fade into a completely different tempo.. What were they thinking? I like the song otherwise.

1) Delilah and Body Language : I think both songs written by Fred were almost intentionally made not to be liked. It was him over- indulging certain aspects of his personality without using any "artistic filters". Beeing on the top of the world or near death, can give you that Fuck You attitude.
He did what with pleased without having anyone in mind.

2) Dont Loose your Head : Roger beeing a car and speed lover i think made that song predominantly to be liked under certain circumstances. And indeed it works great as a "fast car track".

I agree with you on that first point, especially about Delilah - I doubt he was thinking about that song's commercial viability at all when he wrote it, he was just doing it for the love of it.

Well, as long as we're all beating the shit out of Man on the Prowl, I'd have to say I agree. To me, it sounds more like another band trying to sound like Queen (and rip-off Crazy Little Thing Called Love).

Also have never liked Body Language (to the point it embarrasses me it hit #11 here in the States when some of their far, FAR better songs - to me, anyway - couldn't even crack the damn Top 40).

And have never been a fan of The Miracle (the song - I think the video is great), but I realize I'm way in the minority on that one.

I'm liking this topic, mainly for the occasional surprise. For example I love Scandal, definitely one of the best three tracks on The Miracle.

I'm going to stick to album tracks, not b sides, because there's usually a good reason they chose not to put a track on an album.

I am siding with the majority, in that if I had to pick one Queen track to never listen to again, It would be Man on the prowl. I hated it the moment I heard it and the past thirty years has done absolutely nothing to change my mind.
Unlike She Makes Me, which was always my least favourite track on Sheer Heart Attack but I had an epiphany a few years ago and now I love it.

So album by album these are the tracks I like less than others on the album, I'll make it very clear if it's a truly awful song imho though.

Queen 1 (74) - Nothing I truly hate, but The Night Comes Down and Son and Daughter don't really do it for me and if I had less than 30 minutes to listen to the album, they would be the ones to skip.
Queen II (74) - Perfect... don't change a note. I see some people don't like Loser, but I like it's pace, I like it's place on the album and Roger sounds great.
Sheer Heart Attack (74) - 13 tracks in 34 minutes, there isn't time to get to hate any song really. If I ever skip tracks, it's Brighton Rock and Killer Queen, but not cause I dislike them, I just love the flow of last 11 tracks.
Opera (75). Sweet Lady isn't a favourite but lets be honest, it's a bloody good album.

Races. White Man used to be one I didn't particularly like, but it's definitely grown on my over the years. (I'm sensing a previously unrecognised Brianophobia)
News Of the World: The ones I skip are Rock You and Champions, I don't hate them, but they are so overplayed on radio that they seem unnecessary. Back in 77 when I bought this, it was the two Roger songs that didn't do it for me. SHA and Fight from The Inside. Oh and Sleeping On The Sidewalk took me a while to get as well. Fair to say I was a bit disappointed in the album at the time, but there's nothing really wrong with it. It's far from my favourite album.

Jazz: Lots of average on Jazz, If You Cant beat Them and Fun It are probably the weakest, but they are both listenable. I remember on my very first listen on the day of release, I was thrilled when I heard Don't Stop Me Now at the end of the album because everything else was so blah.
The Game (80): I never understood the love for Dragon Attack, it's just filler for me. Much better live.
Flash Gordon (80) - A jeckyll andHyde Album. Side one is basically awful, Side 2 from Track 2 onwards is just a joyous roller coaster of sound. Not picking tracks to hate because the truly awful ones are basically just sounds and last about a minute each. (And in truth I cant remember the titles anyway - I know one is called the kiss and is pointless outside of the movie.)

We are well into the 80's now. And Queen stopped making albums and stated making a bunch of songs instead. For me, this is where we start to see dross mixed in with the occasional bit of genius. (Again, all my opinion.

Hot Space(82) has many faults but Dancer, Body Language and Cool Cat are particularly dire. There are some good song ideas on here, I'd love them to re record Put Out The Fire in a way that didn't sound so freaking lightweight, Or do Staying Power as a Rock track instead of Funk. (Coming your way on a 2017 compilation of not quite the hits)
The Works(84), I am at odds with many people on this album. I like it, apart from the previously mentioned and execrable Man On The Prowl. Absolutely the worst thing released by them on a regular studio album.
I get a twitch just thinking about it.

Magic (86): Again, overall I quite like this album but One Year of Love and Pain is so close to pleasure are the low points for me. The title track is phenomenal live, which may affect my overall view as the studio version is a bit plodding if I'm honest with myself.
Miracle (89) - I don't get the love for this album, Party and Khassoggi, Rain Must Fall, Baby Does me... all skippable, none hateful.

Innuendo (91) - What an amazing album, but it contains Delilah, which for me is 2nd to Man On The Prowl as least worthy track on a regular album. I know why they did it, and I know they thought it was cute, but it isn't. It is steaming turd of cat poop set to something related to music. I can't Live With You is also a bit weak, but not in the same league as Delilah.
Heaven (95) - Nothing I truly hate, though My Life has Been Saved is a bit of a dirge.
Cosmos (2008) - Do I include this? No I'm not going to, Not a fair comparison. not much killer, plenty of filler. Call Me is the one track I'm really down on, but maybe it reminds me of Man On The Prowl?

But for all that... the single worst thing released by Queen is on GH3.
That genuinely terrible Another One Bites The Dust. WTF were they thinking?

I wrote way too much, If anyone reads this far... let me know.
