This is not "rather nice Freddie news", nothing new here. In part it is re-packaged "Lover of Life, Singer Of Songs" compilation, but some songs are out while others are added. Re-issued solo collection with updated, corrected liner-notes would be miles better.

It's a dude that's having, finally, his (maybe) favourite version of the song in it's purest form possible, without clicks or anything regarding the vinyl imperfections. Also he could be a completist, but otherwise he's having a digital and clean version of a wanted remix. No sarcasm intended, I suppose.

But yes, it's a summary of 'The Singles' CDs from The Solo Collection. Worthless compilations at his best.

Considering we have a lot of Freddie stuff on the 2000 box, my top release would be this - compile all Freddie's interviews and appearances and performances (especially the 1988 Dominion Theatre), rushes and alternate versions of his music videos. Put it all on a Blu Ray. I'd buy that, I'd buy the crap out of it.
