Rumours aside, Freddie probably was quite done with touring. The Magic tour took a lot out of him and weren't there some incidents during that tour regarding a beginning decline in health? I seem to remember a story about Peter Freestone or someone catching Freddie before he fell down some stairs because of suddenly almost going unconscious? Anyone remember the exact story?

Freddie was able to preform live up until 1988.

He may have been fit for an occasional performance (Time, for example) but that doesn't mean he was fit to tour or maintain the pace of a tour.

They wouldn’t have done ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ once, let alone twice!

oops! I'll re-edit the list. But I disagree about DSMN - it's a really popular song with fans.

Also, that would mean Jazz and Flash being the only LPs not represented... so a quick tweak:

Revised "Miracle Tour" Setlist: [all LPs represented]

The Hero >> Tie Your Mother Down >> Breakthru >> Somebody To Love >> Killer Queen / Keep Yourself Alive / Liar / Seven Seas of Rhye (medley) >> I Want It All >> Scandal >> A Kind of Magic >> Invisible Man >> Another One Bites The Dust >> Love Of My Life >> You're My Best Friend >> Don't Stop Me Now >> Under Pressure >> Hammer To Fall >> Radio GaGa >> Bohemian Rhapsody
Encores: One Vision >> Was It All Worth It >> We Will Rock You >> We Are The Champions

and for those who (elsewhere) have said The Miracle is one of Queen's weaker LPs - that's a 24-song setlist with 5 from the new LP. I'd have really enjoyed a gig like that!

It would probably be the magic tour setlist with a couple of changes. Just like the magic tour was the works with a couple of changes.

The reality is though planning probably never got that far, as it was clear a tour wouldn't happen.

They would most likely opened with a song from The Miracle . Dare I say it Party/Khashoggis Ship just to make a bit of noise before settling into the more musical numbers

Just looked at it again. Weird, how a "tour that wasn't", could be so interesting.
I've inserted one glaring omission and placed Under Pressure in a little "dance" section with AKOM/Inv Man/AOBTD

in your opinion.

I'd say: Hot Space, Works, AKOM, Flash OST - all worse than Miracle.

Matter of taste. Surely some strong songs on it. But Rain Must fall/Baby Does me/Party/KHashoggis Ship/ Invisible Man are in the top 10 of my most hated QUeen songs. I would not count Flash as a proper Queen album. It is a soundtrack and serves its purpose fine. The two "real" songs are outstanding as there are other instrumentals that are (especially Football fight)
