- Mr. Scully and everyone else were joking.
- Freddie was a homosexual, a gay person.
- He had sex with other men
- That's how he got the AIDS virus

Seeing you obviously are very naive, it's better you know the truth. THAT ^ is the truth.

I know you might have a hard time expressing your opinions, but as you are from Iran I can understand that it must be a little hard for you sometimes to speak English. Also I'm guessing that in Iran they don't talk about issues like homosexuality and AIDS as open as they do here.

Out of curiosity, and don't feel offended... It seems to me like people in Iran and other middle eastern countries find homosexuality totally unacceptable, do you feel the same way?
Here in the western side of the world, homosexuality is more acceptable, although there's still a lot of people who hate homosexuals just for who they are.

Well, I don't know if you just realized that Freddie was gay, but this is all I can tell you...

1. Freddie was a homosexual (though some claim he was actually bisexual) but anyways he did have sex with men quite a lot.
2. AIDS is an uncurable disease discovered in the early 80s and started spreading largely among homosexuals on cities like New York and San Francisco.
3. Perhaps Freddie's only mistake was being promiscuous, and not having a steady sexual partner. In case you don't know what a promiscuous person is, it's someone who constantly has sex with a lot of people
4. Whoever infected Freddie with AIDS probably didn't know at then that he was carrying the AIDS virus in his body, and probably didn't infect Freddie with the AIDS virus on purpose.

This *feels* deja vu.... I think I've had a similar conversation with Nazila a while back.... different topic, but refusal to believe the truth about Freddie.

I believe part of the magic of Freddie was that he was, in fact, gay. He was different, did his own thing, and wasn't afraid of life. Although he hid his personal life to some extent, he lived his life to the fullest while he was here.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay. Getting AIDS from unprotected sex is the most common way of getting this disease... whether you are gay, straight, or bi... you can get AIDS. Freddie most likely got it through an unprotected gay/homosexual relationship. If there is a slim chance he got it some other way (which is unlikely), the fact remains, Freddie was gay.

Many celebrities have gotten AIDS through unprotected sex: Easy E... Liberace... Magic Johnson just to name a few. He wasn't the only one.

yes dear Freddie was gay he also did drugs and drinked alcohol, but don't be surprised 'cause that's just the typical life of a rock star "HE WASN'T AN ANGEL ;)". I'd also like to agree with Susiej about the fact that Freddie was gay made it more interseting for me to listen and learn more about'em !!

I have though always found it interesting how generally following his death Freddie's popularity, myth & legend has grown, where as other celebrity AID's victims have suffered a decline in their standings Rock Hudson for example!

Mr Jingles, i think that most of us understand what you are trying to say, and agree. I don't think that Nazila's knowledge of the english language covers all of the terms you are using... that, coupled with her refusal to know & understand the truth.
