This has turned into a a game. A new fan comes along and asks a straightforward question and in return she is mocked and ridiculed.

Freddie was NOT gay. He may have been a little camp but that was just an image that was fsionable in the early seventies.
Freddie was 100% hetrosexual. He had a wife called Mary and three children called Oscar, Delilah and Mr Tiddles.
He played darts for the local pub and enjoyed the comedy of Roy Chubby Brown and Jim Davidson.
Freddie did NOT have AIDS either. He was on a boating trip with Robert Maxwell in 1991 and choked to death on a large mouthful of Mirror pension funds.

Now can we stop all the bullshit and try to help each other a little more.

fatty.

Hey Nazila it's also nice to talk with you again :D

I know exactly how you feel right now i was the same as you when i got into Queen I wanted to know EVERYTHING especially about Freddie 'cause of his persian roots and also 'cause he seemed very mysterious to me.

so if i may suggest something !! try buying one of his or Queens Biographies, if they aren't available in Iran then try ordering them through www.amazon.com or www.barnesandnoble.com I'm sure you'll find plenty of books about Queen over there, and i'm also sure that the people around here would be glad to refer you to some worthy books that are full of all the info which you need to know.

Personally i would suggest "Queen: The Defintive Biography" by Laura Jackson. Since that it's the most commonly found book about Queen and it also sheds some light on Freddies personal life.

take care sweetie ;)
that's enough about me, now, what do you think of me ?

Hi Nazilla

I want to tell you that I never meant to offend you, nor your country. My deepests respects to you and all Iranians.

Perhaps I'll stick to Susie's advice and not say anything.

Can't see how she could have been offended by your post Mr Jingles...I was impressed with how diplomatic you were.
Anyway, if someone can't accept the facts as they are, well, then they can believe what they want.

I'm sure she just took them out of context.

English wasn't my first language either, and there was a time in my life when I sometimes felt like I was going crazy trying to tell certain things in English.

It's hard when you live in a non-English speaking country, so I understand how it feels.
