The one hate the most when I tell people I like Queen is that they say things like: "Hm, Queen? Great band! But lousy image." I don't care about anybody's sexual orientation. They should look at themselves first, and then throw the stones.

ENOUGH SAID!!
Chom own mudder fukker.
Erm... *ponders*

[x] All the adverts
[x] The fact that when I tell someone I like Queen, they then immediately ask what I think of The Darkness... *growls*
[x] The various 'We Will Rock You' reincarnations.
[x] Them being known to many as "That group who did Bohemian Rhapsody and all them football songs".
[x] All their crap songs (no time to list 'em all)
[x] All their dodgy videos.
[x] The way some people find it amusing that I like a group called "Queen" in the first place...

...there are more, but my mind has gone blank.
Previously known as 'Poodle Permed'.

Explaining to friends and colleagues that I go and watch Brian May and Roger Taylor is embarassing because they often dont know who they are.
But I refuse to say "I go and watch Queen in Benidorm" because that's simply not true.

There are some low points from 1992 onward, but I wouldn't call them embarassing; nothing I regret from 1970 til 1991.

cheeers!
nothing really, maybe only the fact that Queen's bassplayer is not working together with Brian nd Roger anymore.
He should!!!
lifelong loyal and dedicated Queenfan.
I'm quite embarassed by their recent live performances.

I don't give a damn about South Africa or Hot Space, that's absolutely marginal problem for me.

Their Mid-Life Crisis embaraces me (sorry all, but you asked)
"I'm quite embarassed by their recent live performances."

Why do you still want to go to their concerts then?

Just two things: "The Loser In The End" (just fucking hate it!) and some of the things that Brian played on (Anita's album - sorry Bri -, S.O.L., Five, Claire Sweeney, Zucchero, Jennifer Rush to name but a few) I guess Brian's just too nice to ever say no ...
Regarding that "gay" discussion: I'm gay myself and proud of it (but that's not the reason I love Queen and Freddie) - where's the problem? Let those arseholes call Freddie what they want as long as we know THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!
I like, "The Loser in the end."

I'm really embarrassed by the fact that I keep wanting more and more Queen CDs/merchandise -- is there a Queen Anonymous group that has other people with Queen addiction?? *snicker*
Nothing, really......the beginning to "It's A Hard Life" is a bit loud and a little too melodramatic for my tastes though...(III DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNN'T WAAAAAANNNNNT, MAAHHHH FREEEEEEEEEDOOOOM)
