Rare Share: Queen Collectibles... Why the negativity?

Yeahh im kinda excited by this new Channel, as i hope we'll see something actual new eg. demos weve not heard before without GB saying Property Of Queen Productions over the top so we cant hear it haha :P (maybe naively thinking this!!)

Also i kinda see the problem with all you other guys, weve not had anything NEW for a long long time, and as for the "exciting new Rainbow Project" its been ongoing now for a number of years, i dont think well see it anytime soon, BUT... i would absolutely LOVE to be proved wrong :)

Like some others, I won't take the fact that they areworking on a Rainbow box set as definitive proof that it will see the light of day. BBC Sessions album and Hammersmith 75 DVD are just two projects actualy officially confirmed but that then got shelved, so for me it's 'once (or several times) bitten, twice shy' I'm afraid.

I too hate negativity. It perpetuates itself way too easily!!

So yes, lets welcome this new youtube channel with the spirit it's meant.

And no - I'm not being sarcastic or ironic!!!

...now then... about this Rainbow project... I CAN'T WAIT!!! And I won't care that it was shot on 2" Quad 625 lines. It will STILL be amazing to have (and I can stop wearing out my Box of Tricks VHS). DVD standard def is just fine ;-)

Rare Share: Queen Collectibles is a YouTube based channel, not a web site.

It is NOT going to feature any Queen music or videos. It's not gonna give you rare demoes and out-takes, nor anything remotely like that.

It's purely about memorabilia sharing, and discussing rarity and value, and the history of certain enigmatic and/or long forgotten Queen related gems.

Queen music, footage, rarities and LP covers, are NOT ours to play with or feature without permission. We have no more rights to QPL property than you do.

What we CAN do... Is share all our fabulous treasures collected over 40 years, and offer them up for general conversation... Or to view in close up detail if you've never seen them before.

If you like that kind of stuff, it'll be great and you'll love it. If you don't, then stay away and do something else... While letting those that do like it, get on with it to their heart's content. It's no more complex than that.
