I should add though that I was really just extrapolating on what others have said, as I haven't seen any Rainbow stuff lately and can't recall what it looks like to a medical certainty.
It's just another gig (among many) that is deserving of DVD treatment. Clearly we're in one of those situations where someone needs to get the surviving members of the band incredibly drunk and take their power of attorney.

Well it is his thread after all, but yet again he 'lights the touch paper and retires to a safe distance'!!
And to be honest, his much longer will he hold onto this job? The far more sociable, professional, enthusiastic, competent and likeable Rhys Thomas has already;
1) started leafing through the video vault and not only found, but talked QPL into using and releasing, a lot of unseen stuff in a short time
2) been employed to write the sleeve notes on all the new video and audio releases which used to Greg's 'bit'
3) been on public forums to guage reaction amongst fans and had a virtually unanimously positive response
to his helpful, informative and clear info
I'm sure it's only because Rhys is a talented writer, film maker, actor etc... thst he (sadly) won't have the time to fully usurp Greg if asked.
