Just to make clear that it's not simply a label misprint, but the two versions are actually quite distinctly different mixes; one is the regular album version (UK & US I believe) which clocks in at approx 4m 24s, and the different mix (perhaps an slightly earlier one which was revised at the last minute?) appears as a b-side to the 'Cowboys & Indians' single, and this is 4m 14s. I can't recall as not listened for ages, but there may also be slight lyrical changes in this one??

cmsdrums, you're so right about the two version, there are tow versions of Love Lies Bleeding!

One of the best Cross tracks. Funny, loud and a superb guest guitar solo from Brian May. The B-side to "Cowboys And Indians", on the 7", 12" and the promo CD single. Appears on the album in a very slightly modified form. You have to listen carefully! The guitar in this original seems more prominent at the beginning, and the mix doesn't sound quite so rhythm-dominated. There is an extra line of vocals too. Just before Brian's solo, Roger screams "I want you to burn!". Part way through, the word "Burn!" is heard again. This second "Burn!" is left in the LP mix, but the first line is missing. Honest! Possibly this is an earlier take, or the track was remixed for the LP. Again the running time here (4:14) is slightly shorter than the LP take of 4:25.

Best release since The FM Collection? I think so.

We´ll see...4 (or 5) solo albums + 3 The Cross albums + 3/4 Cds with single/extended versions and 1/2 DVD with videos or appeareances...

It would be great, but is there any market for this? I mean, as a RT fan i want something like this but i think won´t be many potential buyers as FM box for example.

And we´ll see the tracklist too...I hope they include every single song. From I Wanna Testify to 2013...But i think many songs won´t be on this box. (My oppinion based on the last releases). I really hope to be wrong, because i do want a box as complete as possible.

Does anyone know more about this?

Yes there might not be a market for such a box set release but then again, I see so many of these box sets by low profile artists. And they probably are not even backed up by the fact that they once were part of a big supergroup like Queen, so even thought such a set would not shift millions, I still think it can sell considerably.

Making stuff available that has been out of print is always going to make money, especially when it will have a huge sticker on it saying 'THE COOL ONE FROM QUEEN'

i hope they will include a couple of cd's with rarities like it was with the FM solo box in 2000. i still enjoy those 3 discs.

I read somewhere that on Blue Rock sessions were written almost 30 songs (sure some of them were also worked to Happiness album) but sure there are some hidden tracks yet.

Anyone hoping for a COMPLETE set full of every demo, etc.should temper their expectations now. Yes, it's called "The Lot". But technically that could just as easilly mean The Lot of studio albums.

Now with GT's words and some wording in the press release, I do think we are going to be getting some bonuses. I would bet we'd get Testify/Turn On The TV, the B-Sides, and perhaps the extended mixes etc. I'm hopeful that beyond that we could get some outtakes, etc.

BUT we really shouldn't expect everything Roger ever recorded in his life outside of Queen....

Then if we don't get it, we're not supremely disappointed. And if we do...well then we are extremely happily surprised!

I don't know that we'll get demos, working versions etc... but I would expect 'The Lot' to include everything that has been offiically released before, so all albums, singles, b sides, 12" versions, etc... I do hope for some previously unreleased live stuff or unreleased tracks that we may not know of too. Whether we need half a dozen mixes of Nazis 1994 again though (like the FM Living On My Own versions) is open to debate!

No, it won't sell by the millions, but I'm pleased that RT has clearly taken the decision to do this from an artistic point of view as opposed to financial, and it's clearly a very warranted , called for and worthwhile release.

Would GT be able to provide a bit more info/confirmation specifically on the inclusion of the different mix of Love Lies Bleeding that I raised earlier in this thread? Cheers
